  I stayed for 4 days / 3 nights in Yellowknife and booked 3 days worth of tours with Julian. He helped me secure a hotel booking of my choice as well which was very helpful. Big thank you to Julian and his team was amazing. Sorry for forgetting the other names but to name those I remember... Issac (my guide for 2 events), Sheldon (Newfie bus driver). I had Issac for the Aurora night tour and the snowmobiling tour. He was very enthuastic with the Aurora show which was great to see. Great guide for the snowmobile tour, took us over Kam Lake and into an area with a great view / photo shot with the sunset in the background. Although one of the 2 nights was cloudy and didnt see the Aurora's, the 2nd night made up for the lack of. The dog sled tour was also very fun. It wasn't what I expected at first but nevertheless, a very fun experience sledding on the Great Slave Lake. Those who wish to book this, make sure you are comfortable on doing a little bit of a workout as you will need to help the dogs out a bit when they start to get tired. Julian, the host provided great communication by email and prompt responses. The big red buses transporting us to different areas to view the Northern light was comfy and spacious. They provided hot chocolate and cookies as snacks during layover waiting for the Aurora's to show up. I would definitely book with Julian and his team again in the future. Overall tour spending was about $1200 after tax. (2 Night Northern Light Tour Package staying at the Explorer Hotel [Higher price end] +1 extra hotel night(add on night), 1hr Dog Sledding and 2hr Snowmobile Tour).   They will do their very best to allow you to see the Northern Lights! It was cloudy, and they drove and drove till we found them. Tour was 5 hours and other than the fact I wish I had bought some water, it was perfect! We got amazing photos and the bus was warm and cozy until we did. I understand no one can control the weather, but they made the best of it and delivered. One hundred percent!

  Isaac went out of his way to find a clear sky! It was very cloudy in the Yellowknife area. We went east first and no luck. Then we went west for a little bit more than an hour and we finally found a clear sky! But there was no aurora, we wait for almost 2 hours. Then there was an amazing aurora outburst even with a full moon! There was also several shooting stars too! One even with the aurora together! Isaac continually searched for a clear sky and aurora forecast through updates! Thank you for this fantastic wonderful experience! I totally recommend this tour to anyone who has never seen the aurora borealis!

  Korean. There were two kinds of hunting, but I don't go anywhere close, and I look for Aurora and go far. I'm trying to make the end time look as aurora as possible. The price was the cheapest, but satisfying. Take a good photo and get it on Google Drive. 25.09

  Very good experience with Northern Lights Tours, an amazing and awesome night to see and enjoy the aurora explosion. Tour guide, Kelly, and the driver are very professional, they made their best to let everybody happy during the touring.

  Our guide was diligent, knowledgeable, and personable. Our driver was excellent. The guide quickly altered the itinerary to maximize our aurora viewing. He also took photos of all of us (and multiple photos of some). The bathroom break was at a well-lit, heated location. The snacks were delayed because of the fantastic aurora displays, but the maple cookies were excellent. We were very pleased with this tour.

  Announced something and delivered another. Say starts at 20:00 but picked only at 21:45. “Offer drinks”: only hot chocolate at the end. Driver wasn’t carefully and the bus has no seatbelt. Less than I was expecting.

  Julian was an amazing driver and took us to great spots to see the northern lights. We got hot chocolate and maple cookies to warm us up.

  It was an amazing and awesome night to see and enjoy the aurora explosion with Northern Lights Tours. Thanks Julian and Hailey for their passion and profession, tried best to look after the best location for aurora even on a cloudy night. And they took so many beautiful photos and let us download for free.

  Isaac was very hospitable and care for all the visitors. The bus driver was very accommodating. We were awe in seeing the beautiful Aurora and the picture taken sessions were quite relaxing.
