Enjoy a whole day, complete Northern Serbia experience, and get to know everything about the area on this tour. Choose between a private and a small shared group, both with live, professional guiding, and an air-conditioned vehicle. You'll visit one orthodox monastery in a region known as 'The Holy Mountain of Serbia,' a lovely baroque town of Sremski Karlovci, the mighty Petrovaradin Fortress, and the second-largest city in Serbia - Novi Sad. You'll have the chance to fell the unique atmosphere of multi-ethnic and multi-cultural Vojvodina - the 'melting pot' with more than 25 ethnic groups and six languages in official use.
And last but not least, you'll get the chance to taste a unique, locally-produced wine.

The tour includes an entrance to places of worship, and so will be asked to wear appropriate clothing.
The child rate applies only when sharing with two paying adults.

At least 16 hours before the trip, we will inform you in case there are not enough guests on tour, and we will offer a choice between: 1) canceling the tour with no fees applied; 2) changing the tour date; 3) moving to another available tour.

Your trip will begin with pick up from your hotel/accommodation in Belgrade, and we head toward the Northern Serbian province of Vojvodina.
Vojvodina
An hour of our ride we will spend enjoying the colorful landscapes of the Pannonian plain and hear stories about the turbulent history of this area. Home to more than 25 ethnic groups, with six official languages in use, Vojvodina represents a diversity unheard of in the rest of the country. Fine chernozem soils make Vojvodina the agricultural heart of Serbia, and the region supplies much of the country's wheat and corn (maize). They have a saying in Vojvodina: "if you drop a button into the ground, next spring, you will harvest a full coat."

5.00Ivana and our driver were both wonderful. We had the most amazing experience exploring some of the areas between Belgrade and Novi Sad. Ivana is such a great tour guide. We learnt a lot from her about the history of this beautiful country. We would definitely recommend this tour to anybody.

5.00Very interesting. Historical sites were worth seeing. Journey was comfortable and guide did an excellent job. A coffee break during the 2 1/2 hr return journey would have helped
We had a great day together with a nice and good guide, Ivana absolutely superb, very nice and knowledgeable.

4.00Ivana gave us a rich day with a lot of interesting stories and stories about Serbian history and culture. We were picked up at the hotel at the agreed time and driven around in a nice minibus that had air conditioning and transported us safely back.

4.00Good tour including various venues and locations. Comfortable minibus, which has USB charging and free WiFi. Pick up and drop off from your residence. Our guide Maritsa (apologies if I've spelt it wrong) was very kind, informative and helpful. Novi Sad was a bit of a let down (it's a very small place) but that's that. Perhaps in the future, can offer more time for the fortress (to explore more of it) and cut down on Novi Sad from 2 to 1 hour? The monastery was quiet and peaceful. Overall, a good tour.
