  Today we did the 10 hour Circle Island Tour of Oahu. Even though it rained heavily during the first half of our tour, our tour guide Rob C made our experience awesome! He was super informative as well as entertaining :) We gained a deeper understanding and appreciation for the Oahu culture. We saw some stunning views. Also, you definitely need to get the shrimp lunch from the shrimp shack. Perfectly portioned and it was delicious! Thank you again Rob, for a great day :)

  

  

  

  

  

  

  

  

  

• Riding with the Chief

  Henry Sataraka (Chief Enele) was our tour guide for this day long trip (10 hours). He is a retired Polynesian American History teacher. His knowledge, demeanor, and anecdotal stories kept my wife and I totally engrossed in soaking in the rich history of Hawaii.,We would highly recommend this tour, especially with this guide. Well worth the trip and a great overview to help you decide where to focus the rest of your time on the island.

  Our guide, Matthew, was absolutely wonderful. He made us feel comfortable from start to finish, and his friendly, professional attitude really enhanced the experience. I was especially impressed by how skillfully he drove while providing such detailed and informative explanations about Oahu. It couldn’t have been easy to do both so seamlessly! The tour includes at least seven stops where you can get out and explore, and it also passes by more than ten famous attractions around the island. As students, my friend and I weren’t able to rent a car, but we really wanted to see as much of Oahu as possible. Choosing this tour was the best decision we made—it allowed us to experience the beauty and highlights of the island in just one day. We truly had a full and memorable day in Hawaii. • It's not great but not bad if you get a good price

  I think the tour was informative but too long for what we accomplished. Pros: beautiful scenic stops for pictures. Knowledgeable, friendly driver. Cons: Too many nut farm/coffee farm stops, souvenir stops, not long enough at Dole and the Japanese shrine wasn't even on the itinerary like other tours. Overall, this was more of a shopping tour with some scenics view stops. Prices for goods at these stops were just as high (or higher) as buying it in Waikiki from ABC or other souvenir shops. Truth be told, I got better gifts and prices from shops in Waikiki. The beach stop was rained out. Not the fault of anyone, but the beach location was run down and dangerous for swimming due to rocks/coral on the water's edge. Would I do it again? No. Do I regret doing it for the price? No. Overall, for 2 or more people I would recommend renting a car for the day from a nearby hotel and drive to your choice places and spend more time. This tour is for non planners or those nervous to get out there and try experiences on their own. 3.5/5.

  The tour was really beautiful, informative, and a lot of fun! Out tour guide Mia was incredible and so much great information to share. He was also hilarious and made this a really great day!

  

• Morning pickup chaos

  Our tour guide, Henry, was fantastic; funny and informative. The trip and sites were great. Rating a 4, however, because the morning pickup was chaotic. Our driver was late and there are 20 operstors operating out of the same space. We were not told what name we should look for. Other GVV customers were in the same situation. I called GVV and asked GVV to contact the provider to find out where they were. GVV was unable to reach the provider and gave us a phone number and asked us to try. We could not reach them. Eventually the provider arrived and we got on our way. A stressful way to start the day.

  The tour guide was very knowledgeable on all of the island’s history and current events. He treated everyone like they were his family and made us feel so welcomed! He laughed a lot, and genuinely enjoyed entertaining us.

• That was a good enough...

  That was a good enough experience. I wonder should be more respectful to provide at least one complimentary bottled water per passenger in the vehicle for 9 hours tour! The vehicle was not convenient as expected with 25 passengers for long tour. The lunch location option provided and food both were limited with poor quality as well as un cleaned bathroom with-un named soap (Hand or dish)!!! In general poor customer service. The driver didn’t offer to stop to take a picture of the scenic highest ocean tide of the Island. Spending so long at shore beach with no water or coffee stand in the area. Spending not long enough stop at Dole planting company which really as a last stop needed more time to looking for such as getting and having the fame pine apple ice cream with line, souvenir shopping , bathroom, etc… The only positive feedback belongs to the driver with good and respectful behavior with good sense of humor and also dropping off all the passengers at their residential Hotel was really appreciated as it was a long day!
