5.00We were lucky enough to be able to witness all the phases of a turtle’s spawning: keep in mind that this is not always the case and no tour operator can guarantee that there will be a turtle that night. Still, "we gambled" (Luis had already warned us that maybe it wasn't the best time) and good thing! Luis took us to witness the spawning of a green turtle, we saw the whole process until we returned to the sea.It is very curious to see the whole context: go with red lights, silence and respect during the process, meet trackers, etc. If you are in Tortuguero, and the time coincides, do not hesitate!

5.00If you are doubting whether or not to do the tour and with whom, DO NOT HESITATE. Incredible experience with the best guide we could have, Luis, attentive and accessible at all times. He helped us even with personal issues and was very willing. The tour is great, you see the turtle very close, but always with respect and without invading. We would repeat without a doubt.

5.00Incredible excursion! We saw 3 turtles and so all the stages of laying! Luis is very invested so that we can have the chance to observe turtles! 5.00Luis is a great guy! Weeks before going, he gave us a good feeling for the recommendations he gave us and that he answered all the questions we asked him (even if they had nothing to do with him), and once there we realized that he was a great person and super attentive to everything, passionate and eager to do his job well. We did 2 tours with them, one channel tour with one of Luis’ guys (which didn’t go very well because it rained a lot and we saw few animals, but that’s not their fault), and the turtle spawning tour with Luis that was great! My 6-year-old son Biel ended with a conversation of more than 30' with him after the spawning of which he was delighted with Luis!

5.00It was our first shift at 7:00 p.m. As soon as we arrived there was a turtle making the nest but something did not like it and we saw how it returned to the sea. Soon we were warned that there was another one making the nest, also did not like the place and restarted the search for another place. Finally I returned to the first place and made the... Impressive!! We also saw the capping and camouflaging phase. Our guide, Luis de Don Chico tours, was explaining each process and had the patience to wait until the turtle that made the laying appeared. Certainly an experience that must be lived. Highly recommended.

5.00Great experience with our guide Gerardo! We had booked the tour for the observation of turtle laying in the evening. We were a small group of 6 people. Gerardo is a very good guide and he is passionate. Thanks to him we had the chance to observe all the steps of laying a green turtle, Amazing! The protection of turtles and a priority for them! I recommend this tour! 🐢
