We'll set out to the open ocean where our guide will give you a detailed briefing of everything you need to know to make this a fun and exciting adventure. We'll navigate up and down the coast looking of different pelagic animal and for the following 5 hours we'll keep our eyes open to look for any pelagic animal that we can find. As soon as we find them our experienced guide will jump into the water; Everyone else will follow and experience what is like to swim with these extraordinary animals.

Got to see a whale in October! Team was knowledgeable and super friendly. Will have to come back again to San Jose del Cabo when we have our baby.

Great experience. The boat is very nice and clean. There are two crew. My guess is they max they will take is 8 guests. Did not ask. We had 5 guests on the boat. Not a lot of shade so plan accordingly- hats, towels, coverups. They had water but I would bring your own just in case. Food was great. Saw wales, dolphins, turtles, lots of fish snorkeling and some massive yachts. Seas were super calm for us. Would definitely recommend.

Little known insider tip in Europe pleasant atmospheres, super friendly people and plenty to experience. Whether sand buggying or motocross terrain, horseback riding on the wide sandy beaches, just sunbathing, or exciting adventures on or in the sea, there is something for everyone. If you want to go inland you need a four-wheel drive. Only the main roads and towns are tarred. Great real Mexican and international food. And of course original tequila. What used to be a dangerous place, the government is quite well under control. There is a lot being built, unfortunately also megahotels and much too big concrete blocks right on the sea.

To be out on the Sea of Cortez and see the sea life all around us was incredible. Our driver and guide with dip expeditions were knowledgeable, responsible and entertaining- as were our fellow travelers. Thank you for showing us this treasure.

We had an excellent day with Francisco! We spent the first half of our time whale watching. We saw them throughout the voyage. The highlight was when he took us to a spot where a group of four humpback whales encircled us and put on a spectacular show in very close proximity. In the latter half of the day, we snorkeled at a reef with a great variety of fish. The wetsuits that were provided made it quite comfortable in the cold water. The tacos were tasty. It was a perfect way to experience Cabo!
We had a terrific time whale watching, seeing sea lions and the arch. We also went zip lining which was great fun.

Cabo is a warm and friendly town filled with reasonably priced hotels, restaurants and activities. We stayed at a beautiful hotel, casa Bella, within walking distance of the marina in Cabo San Lucas.

Crew was delightful, they provided wet suit surprisingly fit , & im, 6.5 258. It is in the ocean, we saw dolphins small reef fish, a parrot & needle fish & im 67 & they helped me going up the ladder as ive always had weak feet. Hah hah!
Definitely take a trip with DIP!

We went whale watching and snorkeling with the DIP boat and had a fantastic time on both outings. All the equipment was top notch and all the crew were warm, smart and easygoing. We saw many whales includes a two week old calf and had a terrific snorkeling experience. I will recommend them to anyone!

Matt and Betty were prompt and efficient in getting our trip underway, giving good explanations and advice about snorkeling in the open ocean. The panga boat seemed new and was comfortable although not much of a covered area. Lunch was simple but tasty burritos. This trip is designed for an ocean adventure, not a lot of amenities. Seeing the Cabo area from the water was a completely different perspective. The mountains are stunning! Never knew there was a sea mount offshore where hammerhead sharks congregated. Although it took a while to locate them, we saw balls of bait fish, turtles, marlin, devil rays and humpbacks. We got into the water to snorkel with a very chill pod of dolphins. They were curious about us and liked to ride the bow wake. If you're ok with small boats this trip is a winner!

Cancel all your other boat tours and book them all with Dip Expeditions! The smaller group makes all the difference and this tour is much more wildlife focused- we set out for a snorkeling destination, but spotted rays jumping out of the water and followed them for a while, then we spotted whales and stopped to watch as they swam right by our boat! Truly a once in a lifetime experience! Then, we did snorkel and were the only boat in a cove with beautiful reefs. I will be booking again next time I’m in Cabo!
