Octopus Diving is a special type of dive that is great for Kids or Adults who like snorkeling but are not sure if they want to try full scuba diving. this adventure is a cross between snorkeling and scuba diving and it allows people who have never done any type of scuba before to try diving without the weight and hassle of the all the equipment needed.

Octopus Diving is a special type of dive that uses a hookah regulators and hoses that look like octopus tentacles going down to the divers. This adventure requires no scuba tank worn on your back. Instead it uses a float to hold the tank at the surface. The air is delivered to the diver by a floating air hose and regulator. So, you can easily swim down and explore the amazing reef and local marine life or swim at the surface without worrying about water getting in a snorkel. One of our certified Scuba diving instructors or guides who is experienced and knowledgeable with the local reefs helps you become comfortable underwater and guide you through the reef so you can get the most out of your diving adventure in Rincon Puerto Rico. We spend approximately 1 hour with a equipment and safety rules orientation on the beach and then approximately 45 minutes in the ocean off the beach.

4.00Great snorkeling by regulator, Visibility was only fair- but not anything they can control. A little confusion because Trip Advisor gives different location than where they wanted us to meet up. Service was good, and Juan was very helpful. Thanks for fun morning

5.00My wife and I just completed an Octopus dive morning with Great Escape PR. Our guide was Hayden and he was fantastic. Friendly, accommodating, and professional, he made the trip easy. Octo diving is a good cross between snorkeling and SCUBA diving that allows for easy swimming and diving down on the reef (Steps Beach, Rincon PR.) Great family adventure and introduction to reef wildlife and SCUBA. Its easier than snorkeling!

1.00We sadly didn’t listen to the last 1 star review. This guy called me screaming that I didn’t answer my phone at 6 AM on vacation. He then called an hour before the tour (which we thought we were all set from our CONFIRMATION). We were waiting there 40 minutes before the tour and he refused to take us claiming I ignored him 😵💫. I’ve been all over the world and have never dealt with a business owner like this! To the owner: Get your “sizing” at the time of booking or warn people that they need to be up at 6 or alert any other time to take your call!

4.00My guide was very nice! The water conditions were not great and we didn't really see anything. Usually, when I've been snorkeling, we get some sort of antifogger, but didn't receive any and really could have used it. The scuba made ma nauseated. Overall, it was cool, but I'm not sure I would do it again.

5.00Easy tour for those without lots of scuba experience. The equipment was easy to use and it made it much easier to dive deeper than we would have with just snorkeling gear.

5.00Our tour guide, Megan was amazing! We saw all the coral reef, school of fish and even two nurse sharks! Takes time getting used to the breathing, but definitely worth it! So wonderful getting to be apart of the ocean. Absolutely enjoyed this experience! Would love to do it again!

1.00They cancelled our tour due to the weather. When we could not reschedule, they took ALL OF OUR MONEY!!! The representative said she would talk to a manager and call me back about a refund, but NEVER DID!! I’m so disappointed in their lack of professionalism. This was supposed to be the highlight of our trip...

5.00With the attention of two crew members for our group of two, we felt comfortable and the adventure was a great experience. The water crystal clear and the reef was beautiful. While we missed the turtles we were able to hang out with a sand shark as well as a myriad of other fish. I would highly recommend.

5.00This was my introduction to scuba and it just couldn’t get better. Robert was very patient with me and walked me through each skill pretty carefully. I would highly recommend Great Escape
