During this fascinating and advanced tour, we’ll seek out some of El Yunque National Forest hidden gems in places where most tours don’t go. You will see and experience various rivers, waterfalls and walk through natural trails. This trip takes place on the heart of El Yunque Rainforest, which has a path to one of the coolest spots in the park.

Ages 7 to 65.
Wear bathing suit and comfortable clothes. Have a good breakfast before departing on tour. Hiking and water shoes are strongly recommended, tennis with a good grip also work. Bring a towel and extra pair of clothing.
Participants must be physically capable of walking thru steep, rocky, muddy trails for long periods, and have balance to walk by uneven surfaces.

El Yunque National Forest
During this fascinating tour, we’ll seek out some of El Yunque National Forest hidden gems in places where most tours don’t go. You will see and experience various rivers, waterfalls and walk through natural trails. This trip takes place on the heart of El Yunque Rainforest, which has a path to one of the coolest spots in the park. The initial hike/walk is a 25-30 minute journey up a dirt/rock path with some river wading. This trail is surrounded by bamboo trees, rain-forest flowers, and many other beautiful plants. We will first visit a collecting pool that forms at the base of a waterfall. Here you will have the opportunity to swim on it’s crystal clear waters, and enjoy the different tones of its deep pools. A glimpse at the first waterfall, great for pictures opportunities! The adventure finishes in a pool area, its best kept secret. After a few minutes of hiking, arrive at a natural river where you can swim, swing from a rope to the river, and enjoy the natural water slides.

5.00This excursion was absolutely fantastic! Luis was an amazing guide! He shared info about the region with as well as making sure we were successful in navigating and enjoying the trail. Totally recommend this trip and Luis as a guide!
I do not recommend this tour. Be careful folks.

1.00This was probably the worst I’ve ever taken, The tour guide was reckless. There was no hike through the rainforest. We merely cut through some people’s backyard, strewn with garbage, to the river. The river is beautiful and has natural slides down smooth rocks into the pools below, Walking on the slippery rocks was treacherous. A non-swimmer in our group was very afraid. The guide brought us to food stands, both before and after the tour. After the tour we were dropped at Luquillo Beach and its kiosks and given 2 hours to eat at the kiosks and enjoy the beach. We appreciated the transportation to the beach and then back to the hotel.

5.00Sergio was great, very punctual and very helpful and very professional. It made everything simple and easy, from booking airport shuttles and booking excursions. I'm so glad I found it because it made our trip more fun and less stressful. Thanks Sergio, I would definitely recommend it!
