The public city tour takes place daily from May to the end of October:

German: Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday

English: Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday

Christine was an excellent guide shepherding our group of 25 for a week with HF Holidays. She is knowledgeable, efficient, and did it all with a sense of humour. I feel I know the region so much better having had a local guide. Our tour of Lucerne helped us enjoy the city so much better than had we walked around on our own. We would have no hesitation in recommending Christine. I just wished we’d had longer with her! Thanks Christine.

We had a fabulous walking tour with Anna Maria. We have taken many walking tours in various European cities, and this was one of the best tours! Anna Maria is a wealth of knowledge and was very passionate about sharing her knowledge of Lucerne. She also pointed out several things for us to do on our own after the tour which we decided to do and enjoyed them. If you have an opportunity to do this tour, you will not regret it!

Doris was informative and lovely. We very much enjoyed the tour and my mother who is handicapped was very much able to follow along.

Very informative walking tour. The guide was lovely, I think her name was Nicolle. She spoke excellent English. We were shown around the old town with all the historic buildings

I wish our very good guide had a microphone as we were 12 in this group and when she turned her head we could not hear her narrative. The guide was friendly and knew the history of Lucerne.

Easy to follow, although she had a clear voice a head microphone would be of benefit as she turned her head I was unable to fully hear. Beautiful English spoken, and interesting information not too much and not too little, just right...
Tour worthwhile. Lucerne city. good tour. Guide spoke very good English.
