On this tour you will tour the Metropolitan Cathedral of Santiago and through extensive stairs, you will be able to climb the bell tower and then up to an incredible viewpoint, located at the top of the temple. From here, you will have the best view of the historic center of Santiago, with an incredible panoramic view of the Plaza de Armas and the buildings around it, such as the Municipality of Santiago, the Chilean Post Office, the National Historical Museum, among others.
The history of the Metropolitan Cathedral dates back to 1745 when the construction of the current temple began, which is the fifth church built in this place, in front of the Plaza de Armas. It was finally consecrated in 1775, and a few years later the Italian architect Joaquín Toesca was in charge of the construction of the façade that is seen today. The Cathedral was declared a Historical Monument of Chile on July 6, 1951.

5.00If you like to get to know a little more history and know wonderful and hidden places, this is for you. The Tour is very interesting as it mixes history with adventure, our guide Brandon kept us motivated at all times with the history of the construction of the cathedral and expectant to know the bell towers. Upon reaching the bell towers the views of the city are spectacular and the place is beautiful and full of excitement, special for a good photo shoot.

5.00A unique experience, I didn't really think I would like it so much, in case the cathedral is beautiful but, the story and story of the Guide (Brandon) makes the tour fantastic and entertaining!!!
