Not only is fishing an attraction, we can also see Turtles, Manta Rays and Dolphins during our Fishing trips and depending on the season we also see Whales. A sport fishing trip where Sailfish, Marlin, Tuna and Mahí Mahí will be the main objectives. Sailfish and Marlin will always be released. The rest can be brought so they can enjoy it at dinner. You can also see Dolphins, Turtles, Manta Rays or Whales depending on the season. It is around 40 minutes to 1 hour maximum to reach the Fishing area.

5.00This was amazing. There were five of us and we each caught a giant tuna. Way too much fish to eat so we gave some to the fisherman. Emilio was our captain and Bernie was our second captain. Both super awesome local Ticos: friendly, experienced, talented. They were great guys to hang out with all day.
Outstanding fishing! I will be back!

5.00Jason is the best! I have fished with him many times over the last few years and will keep fishing with him as long as we keep coming to Costa Rica! I went on an offshore fishing trip last week with my Don and daughter and we had an outstanding time! We ended up landing 6 sailfish! I have had other trips with him where I have caught Marlin, Tuna, and Mahi! Jason is the person to fish with in Mal Pais, Costa Rica!

5.00I fished offshore with Jason and Maria for 2 days during the week of Christmas 2024. Jason is a very good captain with a nice, comfortable boat and very nice fishing gear. We spent probably half our time trolling and caught multiple sailfish and a wahoo. We also spent time following large pods of dolphins fishing for the yellowfin tuna that travel with the dolphins. We prob caught 9 or 10 tuna over the 2 days. I would highly recommend using Jason Tours for fishing in the Mal Pais / Santa Teresa area and hope to be back someday to fish with him again.
