Sailing is a life changing experience!
In four hours, you will help sail a large sailing yacht into the sunny waters of Okanagan Lake. We provide hands on instruction and lots of opportunities to learn or just relax.
And it is is unbelievably beautiful! The scenery is spectacular, from the many developed wineries on The Naramata Bench to the wild natural areas and park. Photographers will love it!
The lake is warm and clean. As part of our day, we often anchor up to go for a swim or for a paddleboard. It is the perfect experience to spend a day in the outdoors to create family memories or incredible encounters with friends.
We offer more than sailing. We love people! Explore how to better navigate your life. Learn how to better respond to winds of change. We bring together the skills of sailing and life wisdom: ‘sailing with heart’. It is a mix of sunshine, laughter, friendship and also a meaningful encounter.

Enjoy a four hour sailing adventure on our 46' sailing yacht 'Anam Cara' on sunny Okanagan Lake. The afternoon sun warms your skin, as it filters across the deck. The boat gently turns with your subtle touch at the wheel. Her sails fill as you respond to the gathering winds. You feel fully alive in the dancing diamond field of light and waves. Join us to create a magical memory with your loved ones and friends! You can participate in the art of sailing as much as desired. You will love the responsiveness of this well designed sailing vessel! We sail on a 46' long Hunter 460 'Anam Cara'. You don't have to have any experience in sailing! You can also enjoy a dive off the boat, a swim or a paddleboard! Maybe you just want to lay back, enjoy a cold beer or wine, and cherish a rewarding day on the water with good people. You are free to choose! Please bring what you like to drink or eat (beer or wine is fine), sunglasses, sunscreen, a hat, rain jacket or windbreaker, layers for warmth on cooler days, running/tennis/water shoes (no sandals please!), swimwear and towel. We provide lots of cold sparkling water, PFD and paddleboards.

5.00What a day! Our 4-hour sailing excursion with Dan and Robyn was everything we didn’t know we needed. These two are the dream team—friendly, informative, and able to read the vibe better than a seasoned bartender. Want to learn the ropes (literally)? They’ve got you. Prefer to just lounge and pretend you're in a yacht commercial? Also covered. The boat was gorgeous—clean, comfortable, and clearly loved. We laughed, we relaxed, we maybe pretended it was our boat for a hot minute. It was such a fantastic experience, we’re already planning our next “spontaneous” sail. Highly, highly recommend!

5.00We had a great time sailing Okanagan Lake today with Robyn and Dan. They were punctual, incredibly friendly, knowledgeable and made our day brighter with their stories and conversation. My partner has never been sailing and they made his time on the water one to remember - they even managed to get him to follow instructions (something I’ve been trying to get him to do for years!) We highly recommend this excursion to anyone and everyone.

5.00We were excited to book this trip. My partner loves to sail his small boats, so the chance to try a larger vessel was appealing. We both loved it, especially the great time with Dan and Robyn and their friends. It was a perfect day and I highly recommend it!

5.00This is a must-do excursion in the Okanagan, from the most gracious hosts Dan and Robyn, to the Okanagan Lake sail aboard the Anam Cara! My visiting friend and I had the best time seeing Naramata, Penticton, and the shores of Sunoka Beach from an on-the-lake perspective. Dan and Robyn clearly have a love for sailing, sharing it (and lots of interesting stories and experiences) with us and the other lovely couple on board. The only sad thing is that 4 hours just flew by ... it was that good. Whether or not you have sailed before, this experience will not disappoint. Thank you for a wonderful time, Dan and Robyn. I hope to bring more of my future guests to Penticton aboard your Anam Cara.

5.00The best way to spend time on the Okanagan lake. Lake views are always great but being on the water is the best! Dan and Robin were amazing hosts and a great source of knowledge of the lake and towns/vineyards surrounding the lake. We got picked up in Penticton so it was also nice to spend time in the city at the south end following the sail. It really was a perfect day!!!
Couldn’t ask for a better hosts to show us around the beautiful lake!

5.00We had an amazing afternoon With Dan and Robyn sailing on Okanagan Lake to celebrate my husbands big birthday ! It was an amazing experience. Dan and Robyn are so knowledgable about every aspect of sailing . My son and brother-in-law had a wonderful opportunity to help sail the boat and they thoroughly enjoyed that experience. If you ever need a deckhand, please let our Daniel know. He said he enjoyed what you taught him yesterday so much. The day was perfect weather-wise and company wise, and we would certainly use them again to treat our guests to a wonderful Okanagan experience.

5.00Dan and Robyn are excellent hosts. This was an amazing experience on a beautiful sailboat. The setting is perfect and so are the memories. Sailing, swimming, paddle boarding, and beach time. Not to mention fascinating conversation and interactions with the hosts. This is something you need to put on your bucket list to appreciate the beauty of the Okanagan.
