This remarkable cave is considered one of Okinawa’s famous “power spots,” believed to bring good fortune and positive energy. Its name carries deep historical meaning, rooted in two remarkable events where lives were miraculously saved. During the Battle of Okinawa, nearly 300 residents sought refuge inside the cave and survived without a single casualty. Earlier, during the Ryukyu Kingdom era, a prince from Nakijin Castle reportedly found safety here after a battle.
