Al Zubara Fort
This 20th century fort is the youngest and most prominent feature of the Al Zubara Archaeological Site, a UNESCO World Heritage site. The fort, which is included in the UNESCO World Heritage List in recognition for its preservation and as a unique example of a formative period.
Al Jumail
Al Jumail is an abandoned pearling and fishing village that was inhabited by the Alkubaisi family. Founded in the 19th century and inhabited well into the twentieth century, people began to move out following the economic boom brought about by the petroleum and gas industry, preferring to be in the main cities.

5.00I did the North tour with Mr. Nawaz and he was so kind and knowledgeable. He told me a lot about Qatar, the history, and different places that we drove past. It was a wonderful experience and nice to see outside of the city. I would not hesitate to do another tour!

4.004/5 1. Nice art in the middle of the desert 2. Parkings available. 3. Perfect time that camels were around when we visited the place. 4. Road from the city towards the destination is very good. Only there will be rough road is when you enter towards the parking. 5. Things to improve- needs to put toilet or refreshments areas because there is high chances visitors might need to use toilet during the visitation. Also during summer months it it very necessary to have access with drinking water near the parking area.

4.00Did not get to see Olafur Eliasson shadows in the desert. Not sure why? Our guide Adil was great but sometimes hard to hear. Enjoyed other sites which we had seen before. Love the millions of shells in courtyard of Zubhara fort.

5.00Great trip with mr Ibrahim. Visited Al Zubara, Ain Mohammed, Al Jumail and Olafur's art. Took many photo's. Mr. Ibrahim was very nice and patient. We had very nice conversations.
