Jama Masjid

Admire the monuments of Old Delhi, such as the Mughal mosque Jama Masjid (The Friday Mosque) which is the congregational mosque of Old Delhi. It was commissioned by the fifth Mughal ruler known as Shah Jahan. Who was a noted patron of Islamic architecture whose most famous work is the Taj Mahal, in Agra. It is the largest mosque in India & Due to its magnificence and size, it is often regarded as the apotheosis of Indian mosque design.

Our India experience with Harsh as our guide was made all the better by his expert knowledge passed onto us of the history of India which made our trip so much more interesting and informative. It opened our eyes to more than just the sights. Harsh made us feel very welcome in his country comfortable and safe. Harsh became a friend in the end and we wish him well. Would highly recommend Harsh as a guide.

This was a north west tour of India steeped on history, sites, culture. Harsh was a brilliant guide very experienced and knowledgeable, with very good interpersonal and organisational skills. He stayed in focus the whole trip but was equally relaxed to have fun with the group. The tour was full of different experiences, so exactly what we sought.

Harsh was a fabulous guide He knows everything there is to know about India and how to share it with guests. He is able to tailor a tour to fit travelers needs and is very accommodating. He’s also fun to be around and knows where all the good shopping is.

Harsh is a wonderful tour guide. He is extremely knowledgeable about the history and culture. He is very comfortable and confident when transporting and moving us through the city and crowds. His explanations and background and information greatly enriched our experience at every site. He is warm and compassionate and has a fabulous sense of humor. He is incredibly generous and thoughtful. We had various ages in our group, and he tailored his explanations and discussions perfectly to our group. I would highly recommend Harsh as a tour guide through India! We felt safe and secure with him at all times.

We had a few hours between flights and Harsh organised for Neil to take us on a tour of the slum in Delhi. Didn't know what to expect but it was very interesting and informative. Neil was very good in explaining all aspects of the slum history and we always felt safe. It was during Diwali so lots of color and few crackers not as many as government has banned them in Delhi. Well worth tour to see some off the other sides of life. Neil and his driver picked us up at airport and dropped us back so very easy.

Harsh and Neil were fabulous tour guides showing us the secrets of this wonderful town in Delhi. This is off the tourist trail and offers so much richness from temples, ancient ruins, vibrant vegetable markets, great local food, potters colony, etc. Neil, being a local, was passionate, knowledgeable and able to unlock the spirit of India for us. This was the highlight of our 2 days in Delhi. We did the tour on our final day and were dropped off at the airport at the end - very accomodating and flexible to suit your timeframes and your interests. Highly recommended.
