Your enthusiast guides give live commentary with wireless headsets along with showing you rare old pictures and sketches. They help you to discover the real places that you will not find in the guide books.
The tour includes food from some famous eateries. To make the experience more holistic, a book has been specially drafted with the help of experts in the field of Indian history, which is given complimentary to each guest. You can even make short stop-overs to buy some small little fascinating things like spices, bangles etc, which are very popular in Old Delhi

Red Fort
As most of the places included in this tour are hidden, we could not find them on google map and could not include them here :)! Red Fort is a UNESCO world heritage site. It was built by Mughal Emperor ShahJahan in 1648. It’s a beautiful grand palace cum fort. Today it is the largest non-functional fort in the world. During the War of Independence of 1857, the British army demolished more than 75 percent of the fort. However the remaining structures still reflect the technical excellence of the craftsmen of Mughal times. The Red Fort is still a beautiful link between the past and the present. Every year on Independence Day (Aug 15) the prime minister of India address the nation and hosts the national flag from here. We do not go inside the fort as it takes almost half a day to see its different palaces and gardens. We will be showing it to you from outside along with some rare old and new pictures
Sri Digambar Jain Lal Mandir
There were 4 religions which were born in India – Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism & Sikhism. Buddhism and Jainism are quite similar. Both these religions were originated around 599 BC. Both these religions follow the path of non violence towards all living beings. Jains are very environment friendly people and they don’t want to disturb the plants. This is the oldest temple of the Jain religion in the capital. It has ornate interiors of gold & silver. The main idol in the temple is that of Lord Parshvanath. The place is very peaceful and the ambience is really soothing. There is a bird hospital in the Jain temple premises founded in 1956 on the Jain principle of aversion to killing. Inside the birds hospital there is a research center, intensive care units, general wards and a place where they teach the birds to fly. At any point – 3000-5000 birds are in the hospital and around 60 birds are admitted per day.

5.00We toured Delhi, Agra/Taj Mahal, Jaipur and Udaipur in 10 perfect days! When In India accurately planned and spectacularly delivered the most memorable family vacation we ever had. A dream come true! I discussed our preferences, interests, and touring style with When In India ahead of time. They totally understood us as customers and prepared a thorough plan that fully delivered our dream vacation in India! Their knowledge and guidance were invaluable. Their meticulous planning made our tour flow smoothly and enjoyably. I’m an over-sixty traditional lady and my “kids” and their spouses are in their energetic early thirties: the tour was just perfect for all of us. The guides that When In India chose for us in the four cities were knowledgeable, pleasant, effective and most professional. The drivers did magic in the challenging Indian traffic, and the “limousine” vans that When In India chose for us were brand new, impeccably clean, most safe and so comfortable, making the road part of our trip pleasant and relaxing. The hotels were superb. We felt professionally and effectively taken care in every moment of our trip. As a result we had a memorable, exciting, and most safe family vacation, beyond our expectations. 5.00We had a fantastic tour of Old Delhi with Ahmer as our guide. The tour allowed you to connect with Old Delhi and benefit from the commentary provided by the guide. As well as seeing key sites and having things explained clearly, the team were very conscious of our wellbeing, providing everything you would need to make the tour safe and comfortable. An excellent adventure.

5.00We had a fabulous tour with Naresh. Delhi is crazy and chaotic but also fun. He manoeuvred us through expertly - giving us the perfect chance to feel a bit of everyday life, see all key bits of the old town, but feel entirely safe the whole time. Mikes made it very easy to understand.

5.00Ahmer was a great guide. He showed us so many different things and gave great details on the history and culture. We appreciated the opportunity to see the city and experience it in a rickshaw. We loved visiting a Sikh temple, it was the highlight of this day.

5.00If you want to get a great understanding of Delhi's roots, this rickshaw tour is a MUST!! It is the BEST way to navigate the alleyways and warren of densely packed streets and rich markets of New Delhi, and to visit some key sites in the area, with knowledgeable guides and incredible drivers. Sometimes you will want to close your eyes given the nature of human and vehicular traffic in the area, but every second will be worth it. No way that as Westerners we would have been able to cover this much ground and gain so much understanding on our own. Can't say enough about our wonderful guide Ahmer; personable, smart, and really helped us understand the mutli-dimensional aspects of Old Delhi -- those that are clearly observable and others that are less so. I promise you that this is an experience you won't want to miss.

5.00We had a wonderful time with Ahmer, who took us around in rickshaws, whilst commenting on every aspect of the old city. Fascinating. In addition we had a wonderful experience of typical Indian street food. And a visit to the spices market where we bought a number of lovely spices to cook when back at home.

5.00An unmissable in Delhi to discover in an original way the “old Delhi”. Incredible atmosphere in the maze of the bazaar with extraordinary energy. It’s completely amazing. Neil, our guide accompanied by the pedal tuck-tuck drivers, whose agility to move through the narrow streets of Old Delhi we commend here, was on top. The tour plan, stops, including to taste some local specialties. This guided tour (with headsets) is definitely worth a visit. We loved it.

5.00We loved this tour! You really get immersed in the crowds, smells, and chaos of Old Delhi but from the comfort of a rickshaw. Neil provided excellent commentary via a headset.Our rickshaw driver heroically navigated the congested streets. The memory book at the end was a delightful surprise.
