For a quick sit-down lunch, try the Gali Paranthe Wali, that features a clutch of minuscule restaurants doling out a variety of parathas stuffed with everything from cheese to potatoes and vegetables. Our driver and guide shall pick you up from your hotel in central Delhi. We reach the Delhi's old town, Later we start walking town the heritage streets and we first try here "Jalebi", an Indian sweet made of deep-fried, coiled batter soaked in sugary syrup. To describe it, its a crispy, crunchy exterior and its soft, juicy, and syrupy inside, which is an outcome of unique process of frying batter into spirals and then dipping it in warm sugar syrup.
We enter deep into the ancient labyrinths of old town and time to try now the king of all indian snacks: "Samosa", a small triangular pastry case containing spiced vegetables or meat and served fried.

5.00We had a fantastic time with Mr Jai Singh, sampling some amazing street food all within easy walking distance of each other. Everything we ate was delicious and we were assured that Jai Singh knew what was suitable for an European stomach! He was a fabulous host and a great walk your companion. Highly recommended if you love good food and also want to bust many negative stereotypes about Indian street food

5.00250 years old Spice market was amazing and offers a chance to carryback home precious Spices of India. From the beginning to the end, the walk was exhilarating and intriguing. So many wonders from the past like ancient building with generations living inside them over a long period of time, like several centuries.

5.00Our tour guide Jai Singh was so kind considerate and knowledgeable! He was accommodating with our clients limited mobility and made sure we had a comfortable experience as well as some snacks along the way. We felt it was also a nice mini old Delhi tour too. Spices are such a pivotal part of Indian history and they are like nothing else we have seen- we feel it’s well worth it to go!!

5.00secret bazaars packed with ancient merchants of old delhi. we saw the manufacturing units of few mughal era jewellers housing rare crafted jewels, surprisingly they offered us to buy them dirt cheap!. guide was highly knowledgeable and amazing

5.00Ancient Bazzars an guides knowledge was more spicy. No doubt Old Delhi s a major place for weeding shopping also. Stuff is so unique and charming. Spice briefing session was interesting and hand-pouned spices suite our tastes an budget also

5.00The Old Delhi walk covered the bylanes, the ancient temples/mosques/churches, and the local lifestyle of localites hidden deep into the maze of bylanes. Jai is simply impressive and a great friend!

5.00I spent 2 days in Delhi on my own, but only after meeting "Jai", I finally found peace amidst the chaotic city. I took the Old Delhi walk and temples run with Jai and spicedup the walk by buying few spices in the spice market area.
