Agrasen Ki Baoli - Leamigo
Agrasen ki Baoli, designated a protected monument by the Archaeological Survey of India under the Ancient Monuments and Archaeological Sites and Remains Act of 1958, is a 60-meter long and 15-meter wide historical step well on Hailey Road near Connaught Place, Jantar Mantar in New Delhi, India. Although there are no known historical records to prove who built Agrasen ki Baoli, it is believed that it was originally built by the legendary king Agrasen, and rebuilt in the 14th century by the Agrawal community which traces its origin to Maharaja Agrasen. It is a popular tourist destination and hangout in New Delhi.. The Baoli is open for public viewing seven days a week from 9 am to 5.30pm.

5.00I would recommend Asif our guide as a knowledgeable and experienced person who speaks good English (and Japanese) and gave us a detailed tour of a variety of different places - cultural, markets and historical sites and was able to give a knowledgeable commentary on all of these. All admission fees were paid during the day.

5.00Would certainly recommend. Asif was polite, helpful, and knowledgeable about all the areas and sights included. He was very patient and pointed out good photography spots at key points. Timing and duration was great, and adjusting to allow for the morning weather worked very well.

5.00Asif was a perfect guide! Very knowledgeable, friendly, punctual and good English. You can ask him everything, also about culture, religion, history,… in India in general. Great balance between explanations and some time to explore on your own. We managed to cover a lot of different sites without feeling rushed. Thanks a lot for showing me around in Delhi!
