Plaza Colon
Considered the receiving plaza of Old San Juan, Plaza Colon is the ideal location to meet your certified tour guide. The guide will be standing in front of the big white monument located at the center of the plaza. The guide will be wearing a blue shirt and red cap. The square is a few blocks north from the cruise port and the town's main parking garages. Ubers and taxis can drop you right in the plaza. On this plaza you will learn about the colonial history of Puerto Rico and the former defensive structures that used to stand steps away from the plaza.
Castillo De San Cristobal
This World Heritage Site is the biggest fortification built by Spain in the Americas! You will tour the interior of the castle to get some of the most scenic views of the main island of Puerto Rico, the San Juan Bay and the Atlantic Ocean. As part of the tour you will visit an underground tunnel and former dungeons and barracks.

5.00This was a great way to learn and see sights on the east side of Old San Juan. We did sight seeing on our own of the west side including El Morro so it was great to see this option of seeing San Cristobal and surrounding areas. Our guide was very knowledgeable and answered all the random questions I had accumulated after a week of traveling through PR. Highly recommend!

5.00Our tour guide Melanie was excellent! We enjoyed the tour immensely. There was alot of walking up and down steep slopes so someone should keep that in mind. Parking is always a problem. We both learned alot.

5.00Melanie was our tour guide and she did an amazing job! We chose this tour because it included one of the main forts in San Juan and also came with an included beverage break. Our tour guide was very passionate and knowledgeable about PR, would highly recommend this tour! It is a bit of walking (about 2 hours continuous) so consider that as well.

5.00Melanie was an excellent tour guide and provided interesting history about old San Juan. It was hot, so the break halfway with drinks was an appreciated part too. I’d 100% recommend this experience.

5.00Loved her passion and commitment to being an amazing guide. To learn and be curious. She gave great little “tid bits “. For example the tunnel construction. Strategic insights of the soldiers and fort.

5.00The tour was conducted very professionally and without delay! Many of the items and places toured could be learned from a book But something that cannot be taught and cannot be learned from a book is how proud our tour guide is of being Puerto Rican and all things Puerto Rico. She was lovely and efficient.

5.00Due to govt shut down castle as a national park was not open. Guide was excellent and made up for this.
