4.00The tour itself was good, we left with full bellies and new knowledge, but the guide seemed to have somewhat different meetup location details (within Plaza Colon) than us which caused a delay getting started. Would hope the company can reconcile these going forward.

5.00My wife and I are on our honeymoon and this was the best part so far. Nels took us to local gems and I've had some of the best food I've had so far. Nels knew the best spots to take us to have puerto rican classics like locally grown coffee, delicious empañadas, and the best mofongo I've ever had. I had great conversations with Nels about parts of Puerto Rican history that not a lot of tour guides seem to be able to talk about! Nels was knowledgeable about puerto rican history in general, and taught me a lot of interesting things about the history of American activities in Puerto Rico especially from 1930-1970! Nels also had some excellent recommendations for places to go I had not heard of and tours to take that were not well known. I would recommend doing this tour at the beginning of your visit, as opposed to the end, so you have time to enjoy recommendations. Nels knows all the good photo spots and takes lots of photos from multiple angles for you. Our tour was also very personalized. Upon discovering I was into coffee, Nels also took us to a local grocery where the local coffee you buy at tourist traps for $15-20 was being sold for far less. I would absolutely do this tour again. It was such a good time!

5.00Had the best experience with William! Not only is he passionate about food but also Puerto Rican history, music, and a host of other topics. It was truly like experiencing San Juan with an old friend. He made us feel right at home, kept a lively conversation going and took us to some truly amazing spots with wonderful food. He kindly gave us additional recommendations of other favorite restaurants as well! Highly recommend this food tour and fingers crossed you will get William as a guide!

5.00Nels and Will were amazing!! They were so kind, knowledgeable, and funny. They gave us so much context for not only the food we were eating, but also for the places we were walking to. It was really great and we were given a lot of time to take pictures and such.
Excellent tour with great food and Neli was awesome.

5.00Our tour guide, Nels, was excellent. She obviously knew her way around Old San Juan, having grown up there, and showed her knowledge pointing out the sites and the history of the area. The stops all had great food offerings to experience and we had time to just sit and chat while we indulged. The best part was that with the walking, we didn't feel full at the end of the tour, just glad to have experienced it. Definitely recommend this as an alternative to just sitting down to eat lunch. If Nels is your guide, she'll make it a great time.
