5.00Xavi turned a simple walk through the Gothic Quarter into a full-on cultural immersion. Every plate came with a history lesson I actually wanted to hear. The croquetas alone were worth the flight to Barcelona.

The guide found the perfect balance between sharing interesting facts and letting us enjoy ourselves at our own pace as a group of friends, without making it heavy. And as a potato lover, I have to say it: white potatoes are undoubtedly the best invention in this country.

The food was amazing too, carefully chosen from all the restaurants in the quarter, local food and wine in Barcelona are hard to beat. I loved the bravas above all else but there was not a single dish that I didn't enjoy. A great way to discover Barcelona's gastronomy and history while having fun and meeting friendly people. I would recommend to anybody looking for a tapas tour"
