In the Morning, fly out to Jinka, and meet your guide and driver,then direct drive to Turmi. Turmi is an area located at the southeastern part of Omo and where the Hammer people lives by. The Hamers are a fine looking people, both men and women take great pride in their appearance, shaving and coloring their hair, oiling their bodies and decorating themselves with beads and bracelets worn around arms and legs. So, you will drive to one of the local Hammer Village and spend the rest of the days visit the Hammer people. Further this day, if there is any ceremony like bull jumping, then that will be seen.

Today, early in the morning, we will drive to Kara village. The Kara tribe are among smallest tribe in the area numbering only 3000 people.They settled on the west bank of the Omo river, and believed to be as a master of body painting that they use for beutifiying purpose. So today you will meet this authentic people at one their second bigest village called Dus(one of the furthest village which isnot often visited by tourist) and the most important place for entire Kara people.

And you will spend some time with the Kara people. Afterward, you will drive Back to Jinka. But before Jinka, along the way, again you will attend at one of the biggest and the most colourful weekly tribal market at the village called Alduba where more than three different tribal groups join together with their own different reasons.

Today again early in the morning,you will drive to Mursi (70km) in order to visit Mursi tribe who settled inside the Mago National Park, they are renowned for the strange custom followed by their women who, on reaching maturity, have their lower lips slit and circular clay discs inserted. And this day you will be arrive the Village in the late morning, and then you will spend some time visiting the Mursi village and share some experiences with the local Mursi people. Then you will drive back to Jinka where you will catch the flight back to Addis. So I have come in to this 4 days and 3 nights itinerary based on your End of Tour.

5.00BEST TOUR OF MY LIFE!!! Aron is more than a guide. He captured the best moments of my life and gave me an experience with each time that was more intimate than any of the other tourists experiences. He is very close with each one which meant we got to do more. As a solo female traveler, I could not have felt more safe. The food was incredible, the driver was AMAZING, and I am leaving this tour completely changed for the better. He is so good with the kids and gets them to sing great songs and translates perfectly when the tribes want to talk to you. There is no one better to take you around the Omo Valley

5.00We visited Omo valley as two friends for 6 days and enjoyed the trip a lot. Our guide Aron was very responsive throughout the decision process and adjusted the itinerary according to our interests. He is fluent in English and makes a perfcect team together with driver Elias who is driving carefully. Aron is great company to have when travelling, organizing everything and breaking the ice with the different tribes as well. It was a pleasure talking about anything and trying typical food. Can fully recommend Omo River Tours!

5.00Excellent experience from the very beginning and beyond its end. From the moment we set contact with Aron via email to plan our trip we got the support and information we needed. He responds quickly, is very professional and knowledgeable. He was able to adapt and tailor the trip according to our needs, keeping enough flexibility to make changes “on the road” if needed. He works tirelessly to fulfill any wishes. He can only recommend him 100% Once on tour with him and Elias (a great driver!) you feel like you are family, not just “visiting” but experiencing culture firsthand. We left with two friends in Jinka, who we hope to see again!

5.00I had a trip to Ethiopia with my friend, and we traveled from Addis Ababa to Jinka, where we met Aaron and Elias. They gave us a very warm welcome, and from there, our incredible journey began. We visited various tribes, and Aaron was not only highly professional and knowledgeable about the history and culture of the region, but he also knew the best places to enjoy authentic Ethiopian cuisine, which we truly appreciated. Aaron was like a friend and a brother, always looking out for us. When my friend fell ill during the trip, their kindness and assistance turned what could have been a difficult moment into a manageable one. Throughout the journey, their approach was very friendly and caring, making us feel like part of a family. We felt extremely safe and got to see so many beautiful places. I would choose Aaron again if I ever travel to Ethiopia in the future. We still stay in touch, and I know I can rely on him if I have any questions or need help. He gave us the wonderful feeling of having made a true friend in that country. Aaron’s tours are enjoyable, engaging, and can be truly unique. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for an unforgettable experience.
