I spent some 12 days in Southern Ethiopia including Hawassa Lake, Arba Minch and of course Omo Valley. I visited the Dorze people, Konso, the Mursi, Ari, Hamer, Karo, Dasanech and Nyangatom tribes. I saw a stunning bull jumping ceremony, we crossed the Omo river by boat and my face was painted by Karo tribe women. This was fun! Unforgettable experience, I loved every moment of it! However, if you come from Europe, you need someone next to you, whom you can trust. For me this was my driver/guide from Remarkable Ethiopia. His contribution made my trip smooth, more colourful and stressfree. Unless you are a blackbelt hardcore traveler in Africa you may want to consider using the services of Remarkable Ethiopia. I can warmly recommend them!

I can only talk about our trip in superlatives! We visited several tribes in the Omo Valley. There are not many places like this in the world, where natural peoples can be seen and experienced in person. An experience of a lifetime! The highlight of the trip was participating in the bull-jumping ceremony of the Hamar tribe. I can't tell you what a fantastic experience it was to attend such a ceremony! These are just one of the many experiences we had during the trip, but believe me, the list of experiences is endless.A piece of our heart remained in Ethiopia, we hope to return and of course we will choose Remarkable Ethiopian tours again. I highly recommend it to everyone.
