Mabamba Swamp

Morning for the Shoe bill. Departure from Entebbe for Mabamba Swamp. You will be picked up from your location in Entebbe and driven to the shores of Lake Victoria. A boat trip takes about 40 minutes to reach the swamp. On arrival, you will take a glide through papyrus channels in a traditional canoe with a local bird guide. After finding the shoe bill stork, you will spend some time learning more about it as you observe Uganda’s most iconic and elusive bird in its natural habitats.
