This tour is a bus tour departing from Kanazawa Station.Visit Shirakawago, a World Heritage Site very popular with foreigners, and Hida Takayama in Gifu Prefecture.English-speaking staff will accompany you, so you can participate with peace of mind.On the bus, your guide will give you a walking map of each tourist destination.The guide will guide you through the sights and souvenirs beforehand, so you can enjoy walking around efficiently.Lunch is a Japanese set meal full of local dishes from the Hida region and mountain produce.You don't have to worry about food, so you can take a leisurely stroll.

The tour ends (arrival at Kanazawa Station) at 5:15 p.m.

Please climb the Ogimachi Castle Ruins Observatory yourself.Walking is about 10 to 15 minutes one way.A paid shuttle bus costs 300 yen one way (paid locally).

Michi-no-Eki - Shirakawago

You can visit the Gassho Museum attached to the Shirakawa-go Roadside Station. Please take a look at the Gassho-style structure before going to Shirakawa-go. There are also many souvenirs for sale. Please note that the museum is closed from December 29th to January 1st, so you will have to stop by another place.

Great! I was late in the morning and they still accommodated me, appreciated the great food and charismatic guide. The English interpreter would put her own fun twist on the translation to try and match the energy and it was really insightful and fun to get extra info before walking around shirakawago and Takayama. Takayama was also super cute

Excellent tour. Well organised. Great experience and fabulous guides. Stunning scenery in the mountains and gasho houses. Takayama temples were amazing. Worth the walk. This tour is a must do!

Bus was comfortable , Guide was very friendly and food was excellent. Guide provided details in both English and Japanese. They even accommodated our dietary restrictions . Kanazawa with fall colors and Sri kawago with village feel was very beautiful.

The perfect 'style' for us! The group bus was comfortable and quiet, the group itself attentive and always on time. The guides were clear, pleasant, and gave very helpful information on the way to the two sites. Once at the location, we were on our *own* rather than walking around in a big group, which was very much appreciated. A true highlight of the day was a Japanese set lunch, which exceeded any expectation I might have had. Delicious, waiting for us, and done with lovely, serene style. I could not have been happier with our day, our two tour guides (Japanese/English) and the entire experience. Thank you!

The guides were professional and despite the main highway closure to Takayama and construction on the secondary highway to Takayama we did arrive late but we enjoyed Takayama and had plenty of time to explore. This was because the guides worked longer to allow this.

We had a wonderful experience on this business tour. The driver and the guides were very knowledgeable. We had the pleasure to experience to eat in Japanese restaurant and in Japanese style. I highly recommend this tour.

The travel to and from both historic towns was very comfortable. The guide was warm and easy to communicate with. He shared important information about history and recommendations in an charming way and in an appropriate amount of time.
