This is a private tour and you will be picked up anywhere within Nairobi. This is a 1 day tour where you will be visiting lake Naivasha for a walk / biking safari in the hell’s gate National park. Some people will opt to drive in the park and that is also allowed. Later on in the afternoon guests will be taken to Lake Naivasha for boat ride on the shores of the lake. Here you will be able to view the big hippos on the shores of the lake and bird watching most notably the fish eagle.

Here is the Days itinerary. 07.00 HRS- Depart Nairobi and start of drive to Naivasha, brief stopover at the Great Rift Valley view point. Arrive at the gate of hell’s gate at 09:00 HRS. Start of the biking tour at hells gate for 2 hours. Visit the gorges inside the park. Gorges are small thin depressions of the land mass where you can walk underneath. Some areas have formed caves where you can walk through. This will take 1 hour. Finish the tour and go back to the gate. Drive to Naivasha Fishermans camp for lunch around 02:00 HRS. Take one hour of all activities start to drive back to Nairobi. Arrive by 06:00 HRS boat ride in the lake for bird watching and hippo viewing 04:00 HOURS. End End of tour.

5.00A well organised safari with fast responses during the planning phase. Unfortunately one of our group couldn’t make it due to injury but this was understood on arrival. A good service all round.

5.00This was a perfect day trip from Nairobi. Paul runs a very professional business with good communication and the best prices I could find. Francis was our driver and did a great job. When we arrived at the park the bike for our youngest grandchild was too big so Francis agreed to follow the rest of us in the van with the little boy and his mom. Along the way one of the other grandsons got tired so he hopped in the van too. The ride is mostly downhill and not too difficult for age 10 and up. We opted to leave the bikes at the gorge and ride back in the van. The scenery is stunning with zebras, antelope, and wart hogs along the way. The gorge was closed because of flooding so we were not able to hike in it. Then the boat ride was fantastic. We saw 15 or more hippos and also zebras on the island. Then lunch was a nice buffet at a restaurant along the way. All in all a good value.
