A one-day trip to Nyungwe Forest National Park include a canopy walk, a waterfall hike, and the newly added zipline experience. The zipline has three sections, ranging from 350m to the longest at 500m. The canopy walk offers views from a 70-meter high suspension bridge. The waterfall trail leads to the Ndambarare waterfall, with a 9.6km round trip.

Nyungwe National Park is located in southwestern Rwanda, near the border with Burundi.

Day trips typically include transportation from Kigali, often in a 4x4 Safari Vehicle, Land Cruiser, & the drive takes approximately 4.5 hours each way.

Guided tours are recommended, as they provide insights into the park's history, wildlife, & unique features.

Comfortable hiking shoes, rain gear, & a camera are recommended.

The drive to Nyungwe is a scenic journey of approximately 5-6 hours. You'll arrive at the park in the morning, ready for activities. Morning: Begin with the zipline experience, which starts at the Uwinka Visitor Center. Mid-morning: Continue to the canopy walk, a guided experience on the Igishigishigi trail.
