Korea’s most prominent mountain is Seoraksan with breathtaking pinnacles, deep granite beautiful valleys, scenic waterfalls and stunning long ridges, and located on the east-central Korean peninsula, and is the most popular with tourists and hikers. If you prefer to hike rather than visiting Gweongumseing fortress, you will hike the best trail of Biseondae or Geumganggul cave with deep beautiful granite valleys, basins made by waterfalls and stream and scenic waterfalls for appx. two to three hours.

Seoraksan National Park
Seoraksan is popularly known as the most gorgeous mountain in Korea. With stunning valleys and waterfalls, it was chosen as a nature preservation area on November 5, 1965, internationally recognized for its rare plant and animal species, and designated as the 5th national park in Korea in 1970. Seoraksan became a designated Biosphere Preservation District by UNESCO in 1982. It takes three hours by car to reach Seoraksan from Seoul. Our guide will take you to Seoraksan National Park, Sokcho by private air-conditioned minivan . You will go to Gweongeumseong Fortress peak(700m) by cable car can and you can see the most beautiful scenery of whole Mt. Seoraksan at Gweongeumseong fortress peak. After Gweongeumseong tour, you will visit Shinheungsa Buddhist temple. After tour at Seoraksan, the guide will take you to the hotel in seoul.
Gwongeumseong Fortress is the site of a castle ruins located on Seoraksan Mountain. The mountain cable car to peak of Gwongeumseong Fortress was installed in 1971 and you can enjoy the beautiful scenery of Mt.Seoraksan through cable car.

5.00Bergen is a wonderful tour guide! Scheduled work on the gondola caused us to change the itinerary a bit, but when we arrived today, the gondola was working and he very quickly pivoted and was able to accommodate the changes. Highly recommended!!!

5.00It was a gorgeous day in the mountains by the seaside, guided by Mr. Kim, a very nice and considerate person with a fantastic sense of humor and good (safe) driving skills. His stories about the daily life of an ordinary person in South Korea made it a once-in-a-lifetime experience that I will treasure forever. Highly recommended.

5.00Unfortunately we had a windy day and the cable car didn't work. We didn't see to much from the NP, but our guide, Michael took us to Nami Island instead and we spent a very pleasant day with him.
