Fushimi Inari-taisha Shrine
Start your tour at Fushimi Inari Taisha, the head shrine of over 30,000 Inari shrines in Japan. Spend an hour exploring this iconic site, known for its thousands of striking vermilion torii gates. These gates form a seemingly-endless path which you can wander through on your visit. Originally dedicated to the gods of agriculture, Fushimi Inari is not just a spiritual center but also a symbol of breathtaking beauty and cultural significance.
Kiyomizu-dera Temple
At Kiyomizu-dera, one of the most iconic temples in Japan, walk across the impressive wooden stage, which juts out from the hillside and was constructed without the use of a single nail. The temple boasts a wide view overlooking Kyoto and the beautiful surrounding nature. You can also drink from one of the three rejuvenating streams of Otowa Waterfall, said to bring success, love, and longevity.

We had a great full day packed with four major sights at Kyoto! Our bilingual guide was friendly, knowledgable and helpful. The leaves weren’t still all fall colors, but it was new nonetheless!

We booked this tour as an intro to Kyoto because it was guided and in English but on the bus we were told that it would also be in Japanese since we had so many Japanese guests too. By the end the guide was speaking almost entirely in Japanese and a few English words as an afterthought. We were dropped at the sites with minimal description or instructions (unless those were in Japanese?) so it wasn’t really a guided tour for us. We probably would have been better off taking trains and going place to place ourselves.

Great one day trip from Osaka to Kyoto on premium line bus. Took about an hour from Osaka to Kyoto ( but 1.5 hrs on return trip due traffic). The day tour provides an excellent overview of 4 temples/shrines with entrance tickets and lunch provided. Hama-san (tour guide) and Komino-san (driver) were great. Friendly, I formative and helpful. If you are looking for a quick day trip with an overview of Kyoto temples, this is the tour for you.

Tet/Ted was an excellent tour guide. It was our first day in Japan and he gave a very warm welcome into the Japanese culture. Tet/Ted took many pictures for us that came out beautiful. He was extremely helpful and gave us plenty of recommendations of places to visit and things to do. He treated us like family and took great care of us. I highly recommend this tour with Tet/Ted as your guide. God bless Tet/Ted!

The trip was amazing. Covered most of the important Parts of kyoto in one day amd also had plenty of time to explore each place. Today, my guide was Naomi san. She is very informative, kind and also helpful in exploring more of hidden gems in the particular area according to our request. Overall everything was good.
