To begin the show, the Maiko will perform a traditional dance lasting around 10 minutes, the usual length of most Maiko performances. After 2 dances (each about 5 minutes), there will be time for a Q&A, photo-taking, and a chance to play a traditional Japanese game with her.
*IMPORTANT*: In Geisha/Maiko culture, performances are intentionally short to preserve the art’s exclusivity and grace. Please note that the Maiko will not be performing continuously for one hour.
Please note the following:
1. No outside food or drinks
2. Socks are required
3. Do not leave during the show
4. Set your phone to Do Not Disturb
Please do not be late. We cannot accept late guests.

5.00Amazing experience to learn the world of Geikos and Maikos, the staff and guides were very friendly and it was fun playing the game with the Maiko! Something that should definitively be looked into if you want to learn more about the culture of Japan. :)
