Meet your qualified guide at Shelly Beach, one of Sydney’s most sheltered and scenic snorkel spots. After a short safety briefing, your guide fits your mask and snorkel, provides a rash vest, and offers a flotation aid (pool noodle) for extra comfort. We begin in the shallows to check fit and technique before making a relaxed swim along the reef edge inside the protected bay. Moving at an easy pace with regular surface stops, your guide points out local species and shares tips for spotting marine life often including Eastern Blue Gropers, schools of reef fish, rays, and much more. The route is chosen on the day to match conditions and group ability, keeping to calm areas for the best visibility and a stress-free experience. This is an open-group experience designed for confident ocean swimmers who can swim unassisted. In-water supervision is provided throughout; marine life sightings vary with weather, season, and visibility.

5.00Snorkeling at Shelly Beach will be one of the highlights of any Sydney trip. The calm waters you snorkel in make it an ideal spot, even for beginners. What really makes the experience special was Tamila. She is incredibly knowledgeable about the marine life and will point out things that you would have completely missed on our own. Thanks to her, you’ll spot beautiful schools of fish hiding in the rocks and kelp, and learn a lot about the ecosystem in the bay. She will help you no matter your skill level.
