Over the course of 2 days we will teach how to be a confident and skilled diver, how to handle common problems we encounter while diving and how to be in the underwater environment. Prior to coming to our centre, we will give you access to an online learning system that allows you to read and understand the theory behind diving. You will need to complete all sections of the learning, plus exam, before entering the water. During our two days, we will split the course into sections, firstly starting with a water assessment to check your swimming ability. Confined dives are split into 5 dives and you will be following the instructor on how to perform each skill introduced. As well as these confined dives, we will have 4 open water dives where you will be asked to perform the skills learnt from memory in the presence of your instructor. Once completed all sections of the course, you will be qualified to dive up to 18 metres.
