This tour is only for guests aged 20 and over. One of the restaurants on this tour allows indoor smoking, and under Japanese law, anyone under 20 is not permitted to enter the establishment. However, the seating area is fully open on one side, with excellent ventilation, so the space is not smoky.
We are unfortunately unable to accommodate dietary restrictions, including vegetarian, halal, kosher, gluten-free, or allergy-related requests.
The first stop has very limited seating, so we might enjoy our food and drinks standing outside.

5.00I had a great time with the guide and the other guests as we strolled around Umeda, trying traditional yet innovative foods and drinks. We were introduced to new innovative ways to eat traditional foods, such as takoyaki, making the experience more enriching and enticing.

5.00Such a fun night out! Out guide was very friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about sharing Osaka culture with us. We kicked things off with some of the best takoyaki I’ve ever had! Then we wondered through hidden shrine and underground passages and arrived at local izakaya. I would have completely missed on my own. The izakaya stop was very fun with hearty dishes and drinks and lively conversation like a local. The night wrapped up with craft beer at a stylish bar. Chatting, laughing and clicking glasses with the fellow travelers made it all the more fun. It was also fascinating how the city’s vibe kept changing, from local shopping street to underground walkways to skyscrapers - all within short walking distance. Highly recommended!

5.00I joined the Osaka Night Walk: Discover Umeda Food and Pub tour and it was such a memorable experience! We started with the best takoyaki I’ve ever had – made with seafood broth so flavorful that no sauce was even needed. The guide then took us through Umeda’s hidden underground areas that I would never have discovered as a tourist. We enjoyed a hearty and tasty izakaya stop, and ended the night with drinks at Grand Front Osaka, which has the most luxurious food court I’ve ever seen. The guide was friendly, well-spoken, and made the whole experience enjoyable, and the group that night was great company. I truly enjoyed this tour and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Osaka!

5.00This Umeda tour was brilliant! The guide took us to a hidden spot for the most incredible takoyaki I’ve ever tasted (so flavorful, no sauce needed!) and a lively izakaya for affordable kushi-katsu. We also went to a pub that has free seatings where you can watch the vibrant city view at night from huge glass windows. The best part was learning about local culture, including how to say thank you like an Osakan: "Maido Okini!", knowing the difference between shrine and temple and the history of Umeda City. They weren't just a guide; they felt like a friend showing us their city. A truly special experience.

5.00I joined Osaka night walk: discover umeda food by Japan Wonder travel and pub on 17th, August 2025. The tourguide was so nice, friendly and speak English well. I visited 4 main places as following: Takoyaki restaurant, Hatsuri shrine, Kushikatsu-dengawa pub and Jizane Kura Osaka Pub. The tour was interesting and joyful, enjoyed some original Japanese food, beer, sake or highball. I highly recommend this tour to discover Japanese culture.

5.00Takuma, our guide, was super friendly and knew so much, which made the night a blast. Loved clinking glasses with everyone, munching on tasty takoyaki and kushikatsu, and just chatting away. The last bar with craft beer, cool vibes, and awesome views was the perfect way to wrap it up. Totally recommend this tour — whether you’re exploring with friends or traveling solo, you’re guaranteed to have an amazing time!

5.00The tour was full of interesting trivia about Umeda area, its dungeon, and wonderful conversations with new friends. Our guide, Takuma-san, was super knowledgeable about the area and Japanese izakaya culture. He taught us a meaningful Kansai phrase “Maidou Okini” which means “Thank you, every time.” Highly recommended for those who wanna have some quality time in Osaka!

5.00Kiyoto was an amazing host for our Osaka bar hopping experience. From the moment we met, he made us feel welcome and comfortable, guiding us through the lively streets. He shared fun local stories, gave us insights into Osaka’s food culture. We enjoyed delicious Takoyaki, crispy Kushikatsu, and a selection of craft beers. What stood out most was how effortlessly Kiyoto managed to create a relaxed, friendly vibe while also being attentive to our preferences.
