  Spectacular museum of course from one of the greatest contemporary artists. Very impressive to see art works of Munch in real world. Suggestion is to have a headset to listen to the audio guide. It will boost your experience to the next level. Museum is very big and first 3 floors are works of Munch and the rest are other Scandinavian artists. You will need some hours to visit everything. Museum is kids friendly and there are some small activities designed for children to learn about painting and creativities. Museum store also has good learning materials for adults and children.

  Absolutely loved this museum. I've been a Munch fan for many years and to actually see The Scream in person was great. The actual museum is an architectural dream and is very well thought out. The exhibits were fascinating, I had no idea Munch had produced so much work. Staff at the museum were lovely, so helpful and friendly. I will definitely return in the future.

  How wonderful! A museum really rich in works to discover that Munch is not only "The Scream" but much more. Well-structured, with large rooms where you can run freely without annoying or being annoyed by other patrons. The structure of the building is also very interesting both as an external view and as an internal part. Going to the top floor you can enjoy a view of the Opera House and part of Oslo Fiord.

  Simple enough does what it says on tin! Purchased tickets so we had 100% access! Simple and Easy would recommend!

  Fortunate to have seen the Lifeblood exhibit before it leaves. Very interesting and informative. Nice architecture.

  Museum is well organized and convenient for children. There are spaces to draw. Then, it's worth going with the kids. Then, we entered with Oslo pass. Since it was too crowded at 11am, we entered at 1.30pm, i.e. we could not enter before this time. Museum was very interesting. In addition to the precious paintings there are many details that refer to the life of the painter. I recommend from the heart ♥️

  The museum is an absolute must. It's an overwhelming art collection. However, I was quite annoyed in the course of ordering tickets that the tickets were cumbersome initially announced, but could only be downloaded shortly before. tripadvisor could take a look at GetYourGuide to see how it works quickly, easily and safely.

  Ticket was not available for download, no QR code, no admission, had to buy new tickets. Therefore very unhappy with the performance.
