5.00We had a great time on the bus tour! My 3.5 year old son loved riding on the top of the the bus the best :) Our guide was wonderful and informative. Highly recommend, even if you're a local!

4.00It's a great tour. Bad weather does affect the experience because everyone is inside the bus. That means it's a little louder. But, I would do it again in any kind of weather because it gets you to important spots.

4.00"Taking the double decker bus was an excellent way to dive into the heart of Ottawa’s history. Seeing the iconic monuments and buildings—some of which have stood since the very beginning of the country’s formation—was a highlight of the trip. The 'dual' nature of the tour provided a great balance of information and sightseeing. The historical value provided by the guides was top-notch; it really helps you appreciate the significance behind the architecture. I especially appreciated the 'hop-on, hop-off' flexibility, allowing us to stop at specific points to explore on foot before being picked back up. It was a very seamless and informative experience. A very nice way to spend the day for anyone looking to understand where Canada started."

5.00We aimed for the first bus from the first stop. The departure time was 10am however the message from vendor said we should arrive 30minutes before. I assume this is to give you time to collect your tickets from the booth. Maybe in summer there is a queue, but we had no queue. I'd say arrive a 10 minutes early to make sure you get choice of a good seat (in May) The tour was excellent, the presentation from the young guide and was best we have had on hop-on-off-bus. He kept us interested throughout and provided lots of knowledge on the area. The talk was delivered in English and French. So much better than those bus tours where you plug in headphones and listen to a recording.
