Calling all fans of the world’s favourite wizard, this Oxford walking tour takes you to recognizable locations of the Harry Potter films. During this family-friendly tour, see the grand buildings of Oxford University and see inside the Divinity School—which featured as the infirmary & classroom space in Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Learn of other literary legends that attended Oxford University.
Tour includes entry worth £3 per person inside the Divinity school at the Bodleian Library. Tour lasts average 90-120 minutes.
Notice: on dates when Divinity school is closed - see closures notices under What's not Included section- we instead visit New college.

Bodleian Library
See inside Divinity School film site at Bodleian Library- worth £2.50 entry fee included in your ticket. NB we do NOT visit inside the medieval library as it does not anyway permit private guiding inside. If you do wish to see inside Duke Humfreys library, then you can book tickets for that directly from the Bodleian website but they only permit entry to children aged 12+ or adults.
Bridge of Sighs
We also see and describe many stories about Oxford university and student life and we pass by and introduce most of the famous sights of Oxford during the tour eg Radcliffe Camera, University Church, Bridge of Sighs and multiple colleges of the university.

4.00Our guide was very knowledgeable about both Oxford and Harry Potter. He was very friendly and made the tour fun - a true Hufflepuff. New college was closed and it doesn’t go as far as Christchurch, but we still saw a lot.

4.00Our guide was very friendly, passionate about the topics, and cared about our experience! I just think with so much history and stuff to see, I should have selected a different type of tour (more history and faster pace).

5.00Our tour guide of the day was Ben. He is very knowledgeable about history of Oxford. All the questions you asked about the buildings the streets, he gives you details of the full story. He also came well prepared by showing us videos of the Harry Potter scenes while we visited several spots where the scenes were shot. At the end of the trip he also recommended us where to shop and eat for our next day explorations around the town.
