Taste the best selection of daily street foods, such as ‘arancine’ (stuffed rice balls) and ‘panelle’ (chickpea fritters), as well as a glass of local wine, seasonal dessert (cannoli or ice cream) and other challenging samples like the renowned "pani ca' meusa" (veal offal sandwich). This tour is limited to 10 participants, ensuring you an open interaction with the tour guide, the local vendors and the other travelers. TO CRUISERS: the port of Messina town is far away from the city of Palermo, if you are docking in Messina, do not book this tour. We can't provide a refund if you realize this passed the deadline.

The tour is suitable for vegetarians and pescatarians, except one food stop. Alternatives to celiac travelers can be provided if we are informed at the time of booking.

5.00We had a great guided tour with Vinz, he was very friendly and extremely knowledgeable. He took us to lots of different places which we would never have found on our own. The tour was supposed to last three hours but went over by about 1/2 an hour, which was a good thing!! He made the trip for us and was a highlight of our holiday 😊

5.00Our guide, Simona, was terrific, explaining the food and traditions, with amusing anecdotes and stories about the family-owned businesses we visited. We walked through two markets, both interesting, and through streets both broad and narrow, giving us a good overview of the area we were visiting. The walking was easy, with no hills. The group was small enough that we could all chat, which was a bonus. Overall just a really good tour.

5.00Angelo did an amazing job showing us how to get lost in the alleys of Palermo to find the real gems. From architecture, to family run tavernas and trattorias, to street vendors known only to locals, every single stop was a hit. The tour was above all educational, teaching us about the history of Palermo and the origins of its cuisine. Highly recommend the tour and Angelo as a guide.

Alessandro is a knowledgeable guide, the walk was of a perfect length with good information included, food selection was very good and tasty or us, the included drinks were perfect to accompany the snacks.
