Taste the best selection of daily street foods, such as ‘arancine’ (stuffed rice balls) and ‘panelle’ (chickpea fritters), as well as a glass of local wine, seasonal dessert (cannoli or ice cream) and other challenging samples like the renowned "pani ca' meusa" (veal offal sandwich). This tour is limited to 10 participants, ensuring you an open interaction with the tour guide, the local vendors and the other travelers. TO CRUISERS: the port of Messina town is far away from the city of Palermo, if you are docking in Messina, do not book this tour. We can't provide a refund if you realize this passed the deadline.

The tour is suitable for vegetarians and pescatarians, except one food stop. Alternatives to celiac travelers can be provided if we are informed at the time of booking.
MUST KNOW: most traditional street foods are baked or fried, fat and full of carbs. Do not expect seafood.

5.00One of the highlights of our trip! A walking tour, history and culture intro, and most delicious food tour all in one. We saw markets and ate at local establishments we never would have discovered on our own. You will not leave hungry! We did this tour during our cruise stop in Palermo - the starting and ending points for the tour are definitely walkable from the cruise port. Absolutely would recommend this tour.

5.00Our guide, Alessandra (Allie) was super knowledgeable, entertaining and very informative. She did a great job taking us to try fabulous food that we otherwise would not have seen or found on our own. Her enthusiasm and love of the Palermo street foods made this one of the best I’ve been on.

5.00we had the best time on this food tour. The stops were off the beaten path focusing on family owned restaurants. The foods was authentic Sicilian street food allowing us to try cuisine we wouldn’t have otherwise tried. They were also able to accommodate vegetarian which was much appreciated. Although the best part of the tour was our guide Ale. A native of Palermo, she was a wealth of knowledge and brought an energy and love of the city making the tour even more fun! We would definitely book again.
