Step into the heart of Palma and taste the real Mallorca, one unforgettable bite at a time. This small-group walking food tour takes you through the city's most authentic flavors, from the buzzing stalls of Mercado del Olivar to a family-run restaurant that's been serving locals for over 68 years.
At the market, savor a grilled scallop, a fresh oyster, and a generous charcuterie spread: Iberian acorn-fed ham, sobrassada, Mahón cheese, fuet, and camaiot, all paired with local red wine. Continue to a traditional neighborhood bakery for a slice of coca de trampó, Mallorca's beloved savory flatbread. Sit down for a full Mediterranean lunch with house wine and homemade dessert at an iconic wine-cellar-turned-restaurant. End on a sweet note with a warm, freshly baked ensaimada from an artisanal pastry shop.

5.00Alicia is the type of local guide I wish I’d have on every tour, whether it’s for a few hours or multiple days. She’s full of enthusiasm and knowledge about the food and history of Mallorca. The group was small (3 of us) and I thoroughly enjoyed the company. Forget the breakfast and come hungry!

5.00Richie was a very knowledgable and friendly guide to the city. The food stops felt off the beaten track and we saw some of Palma’s sights along the way. Our group was interactive and everything felt easy. Having tasted some dishes I’d never usually order, a food tour is the best way to see Palma at its best. Our 3rd city doing a secret food tour - where to next?!

5.00Wonderful day walking thru the streets of Palma old towne. Guide was Richie and he was very good, gave us lots of info about the island. Our group was very social and interacted well. If I had one recommendation- I would suggest that the seafood not be served first thing in the morning. I had to pass on the food (oysters and scallops) as the smell first thing in the morning was not for me. My husband had a second serving and loved it all! All other stops were great! Highly recommend the tour.

5.00Having done a Secret Food Tour in Barcelona, it was a no brainer that we wanted to try one in Palma. We were lucky going out of season to have a private tour with Richie. He was very friendly, easy to talk to, very knowledgeable and gave us everything we needed for the rest of our trip to know where to eat and what to order. We would highly recommend anyone who loves exploring new places, particularly through food to book this tour. Thank you Richie for a great tour and all the best for the tour going forward.

5.00Richie was excellent and made sure we felt relaxed while walking us around and showing us the sights. He was personable and obviously had an indepth knowledge of all the food he was showing us. A fantastic trip for couples or solo travellers!

5.00Our secret food tour was great. We met at a market so we could really see where local people bought their food. The first stop was amazing with scallop, oysters and wine. Then we went to a meat and cheese shop within the market and had a charcuterie board. We enjoyed the authentic cellar dining with local people. The bakery was amazing. ALIcia was very knowledgeable. Her background and history was so evident in all that we saw in Palma de Mallorca. She really provided additional enrichment of daily living of the mallorcans. She was able to answer questions and was also a food aficionado, which helped with explanations of all that we ate. This was our favorite tour in our travels!!
