Panama Canal
After pick up from hotel or accommodation in Panama City, we would take you to an observation area where we will explain you about the history and how the Panama Canal works.
Gatun Lake
After seeing a ship go through the locks, we will continue by car to the Chagres River where we will then get off the car and begin a boat tour in the Gatun Lake. At this point you will be inside the Panama Canal passing beside the ships in transit from one ocean to the other. During this boat tour in Gatun Lake you will be surrounded by the rainforest of the Soberania National Park, where we will spot monkeys and other wild animals.

5.00Ricardo is awesome!!! The experience would have been good regardless but his expertise elevated it to the next level. He was a wealth of knowledge, an absolute gentleman, a great conversationalist and the experience felt personally cultivated to us. 10/10 recommend

5.00Everything about this experience was excellent! My family and I were picked up at our hotel at the scheduled time by our exceptional guide Fernando and driven around in a very comfortable, air conditioned minivan. We arrived to the canal, just as it opened, and had a prime location to watch the large ships entering. We then enjoyed the IMAX movie that explains the impressive construction and continued use of the canal. From there we traveled to a small doc and hopped on a boat that took us into Lake Gatun - past the large ships to the islands where we interacted with monkeys, sloths and even tiny bats! Even the downpour that we experience on our way back to the dock couldn't dampen the excitement and joy of the day! Fernando was incredible - funny, knowledgeable and patient. Definitely highly recommend this excursion.

5.00It is well worth the extra money to do the private tour. Ruben was an excellent tour guide we did the Panama Canal and lucky to see a ship go through the locks.We also did the boat ride to Monkey Island though a bit touristy it still was fun.We highly recommend it.

5.00This was such an enjoyable day. Hotel pickup was convenient and right on time. The canal itself was such an interesting thing to witness and we managed to track down lots of wonderful wildlife (including a sloth!) on the lake, with a fun speedboat ride too. Demetrio was a truly superb tour guide! Overall an exceptional experience!

5.00Totally GREAT! Hotel pick-up. Private Tour w/ your own guide. Pay just one time: no extra entry fees. Sightseeing tour and history lesson all in one neat package. Our guide, Ricardo, picked us up at the Hyatt on time and made the entire trip a pleasure. Got rained on a bit while watching monkeys but it only added to the experience. Riding in a boat alongside of a huge container ship on Lake Gaton blew our minds. Seeing the same container ship we saw on the lake actually going through the locks was amazing. This is a must do when in Panama. Thank you, Ricardo!

5.00We had a great afternoon, got rather doaked by the rain so a good idea to take extra dry cloathes. Guine was great pick up puntual and the lake tour great.
