Panama Canal
After pick up from hotel or accommodation in Panama City, we would take you to an observation area where we will explain you about the history and how the Panama Canal works.
Gatun Lake
After seeing a ship go through the locks, we will continue by car to the Chagres River where we will then get off the car and begin a boat tour in the Gatun Lake. At this point you will be inside the Panama Canal passing beside the ships in transit from one ocean to the other. During this boat tour in Gatun Lake you will be surrounded by the rainforest of the Soberania National Park, where we will spot monkeys and other wild animals.

5.00Luis was a wonderful tour guide. He spoke English very well and was prompt & courteous. Canal visit went s be moothly in spite of large crowds in a temporary viewing area due to construction. Movie was informative & extremely well done. Our Gatun lake tour was nice but rained halfway through the trip. However we were still able to see monkeys, sloths and baby bats. Highly recommend!***** 5 star.

3.00Ruben was on time to pick us up at our hotel. He is knowledgeable about the canal and its history. He seemed to know the canal zone like the back of his hand. His english is perfect and he is clearly very proud of his home country of Panama. We did not wait in lines and he was always available to guide us through crowds. The boat tour of the lake was wonderful. We were right there and up close with the huge cargo ships as they waited there turn to enter the canal. Ruben answered all our questions and provided us with useful details about our future plans that helped us tremendously! Thank you Ruben.

This tour is perfect for anyone who is short on time or simply wants a great introduction to both the canal and the wildlife. Dan shared fascinating historical information, thoughtful insights about the country, and plenty of helpful local recommendations for things to do. Canal trip with Reuben

5.00We booked a wonderful trip to the Canal with Reuben that included watching vessels transit the locks, an IMAX movie about the Canal (love Morgan Freemqn!), and then a boat ride with Javier into the lake to see the vessels up close. Javier also brought us right up to the banks of islands so we could see Monkeys and Sloths. Quite the adventure! Reuben picked us up right on time and was an excellent guide. He got a Master’s in Industrial Engineering in the States, so not only was his English perfect, but he understands the workings of the canal so provided lots more insight than a standard recorded tour. AND he’s a great guy. Highly recommended.
Fantastic Panamá Canal Tout

5.00We thoroughly enjoyed our private Panamá Canal Tour with Dan. The start was early, but we were rewarded with seeing a large ship move through the locks. Leaning about the history of the canal was fascinating. Our boat ride on Gatun Lake was great and our boat driver was able to get us up close to a variety of different monkeys.

5.00Our guide Rueben was excellent. He spoke fluent english which allowed him to convey lots of information about the canal. Our trip to Monkey island was far better than I expected and we saw Tamarind Monkeys so a rral treat. Our entrance to the canal viwing platform was included and I enjoyed the experience.
