Beautiful Waterfall & Embera Village Experience

5.00This experience was truly BEAUTIFUL and one of the most unique experiences I had in Panama. Our host picked us up from our lodging and took us to the waterfall, and everything was organized so well from start to finish. The hike to the waterfall was absolutely beautiful, and our host (Clement and the amazing driver) shared history and information with us during the boat ride there. He also took amazing pictures for us at the waterfall, which I really appreciated. Since it was rainy season, it rained while we were walking back to the boat, but honestly that made the experience even more memorable and beautiful. The trail became muddy, and our host made sure everyone stayed safe and comfortable the entire time. Visiting the Embera village was such an inspirational, educational, and eye opening experience. Learning about their culture and way of life was incredible. We were served a delicious meal, danced with the community, and learned so much throughout the visit. They also had beautiful souvenirs at the end. I would absolutely recommend this experience to anyone visiting Panama. It truly felt like a once in a lifetime experience.

5.00Our guide, jamaican Kareem Anglin, was very friendly and entertaining. The weather was gray and rainy the day before and we were worried, but he assured us that the tour would proceed as planned. We arrived at Port Corotú with brigh sun, then quickly took a canoe to the trailhead leading to the waterfall. It was very muddy and slippery, but we managed to complete the hike without any trouble. The waterfall is wonderful and the pool is great for swimming. Not too cold, just fresh, and that's good at tropical hot weather. Then it started raining heavily, so we headed back along the muddy trail and took the canoes to the village. We had fried fish, chicken, cassava, and fruit for lunch - it was delicious. We watched some traditional dances and we chatted with some of the indigenous people, who introduced us to their culture and they wore curious about our brazilian indigenous. The trip was well worth it!

5.00This is an experience of a lifetime. The guide, Phillipe, was great. He made everyone feel comfortable, like we were all family. He was very knowledgeable about the tribe and the area. He made it the best experience. I am so happy that I got to partake in this adventure. Book it, you will not regret it. ❤️

5.00We had such a unique experience. From the pickup at the hotel at the confirmation time, the ride was amazing with Philip and the driver, Philip is a born guide and entertainer! The canoe ride was also absolutely beautiful through the jungle in the Chagres river. We did a light hike to the waterfall and then back to the canoe to go to the Embrera tribe. The Embrera tribe were very welcoming and I loved their dances and music. I cannot say it enough times how amazing Philip was, my experience was 10 times better because of him, I hope he sees this message, amazing human! Highly recommend doing this once in a lifetime experience.

5.00This is a must-do excursion. Everything about it was incredible. Our tour guide Orlando was the best. There couldn't be a better guide. We loved everything about it - the canoes, the tribe, the food, the waterfall, etc.

5.00This is definitely an excursion you should take. A once in a lifetime kind of thing. We loved it! The tribe was fascinating. The food was incredible. The water falls was so cool. The canoes were incredible. Our tour guide Orlando was amazing!

5.00From start to finish the experience was excellent!!! Phillippe was our awesome tour guide and he gave us a thorough history of the Embera Village and its culture. The food was chef kiss! We were also given a birthday celebration, which was extremely sweet. Definitely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Panamá.
