Giant Panda Breeding Research Base (Xiongmao Jidi)
The Chengdu Giant Panda Breeding Base is located on the northern outskirts of Futou Mountain in Chengdu, 10 kilometers away from the city center. It is connected to the city center by a wide Panda Avenue and has become one of the main bases for the relocation and protection of rare and endangered wildlife such as giant pandas in China. Animals such as giant pandas, red pandas, black necked cranes, white storks and swans, black swans, geese, mandarin ducks, and peacocks are kept year-round.
Leshan Giant Buddha (Da Fo)
The Leshan Giant Buddha is a 71-metre (233 ft) tall stone statue, built between 713 and 803 (during the Tang dynasty). It is carved out of a cliff face of Cretaceous red bed sandstones that lies at the confluence of the Min River and Dadu River in the southern part of Sichuan Province in China, near the city of Leshan. The stone sculpture faces Mount Emei, with the rivers flowing below its feet. It is the largest and tallest stone Buddha statue in the world and it is by far the tallest pre-modern statue in the world. It is over 4-kilometre (2.5 mi) from the Wuyou Temple.

It was very amazing trip. We were happy to see pandas in the villas. They were so cute. Especially red pandas. We saw it very near of us. We wanted to spend the whole day in the Panda base. The Big Budda is also interesting place and you need to take a half of day to spend there. There were many places to see but we were already tired after walking in Zoo. Emei Montain. We can not say a lot. We were not on the top because it was raining there. We walked alone for some hours and then back. Our driver was very good, very polite. We could communicate with him with translation but it worked gut. Thank you him a lot.
