• A nice large market with something for everyone!

  Stopped in on a Thursday and the market was fairly busy. We were told Wednesday and Saturday’s were the busiest days. Quite a large market with two floors, though the main floor contains the most wares. There are stalls that offer crafts from local artisans, this includes pearl jewelry. As well, fresh produce, seafood, flowers and prepared food are offered. A great deal of variety due to the large number of vendors. It is a covered venue and the aisles are wide so as not to seem too crowded. Worth a visit and the vendors are friendly.

  I planned a beautiful two-week trip to French Polynesia which was to end with this tour where we planned to buy most of our souvenirs. I knew when I was booking a month in advance that the day we were going is a holiday. I asked Viator to contact the tour operator to verify they would be operating on the holiday. They confirmed they would be. The night before we were supposed to go, they canceled because of the holiday. The one I specifically asked about a month before. I don't know the market hours and the internet doesn't either. I relied on this tour operator to know the local area and hours. I didn't have enough time to make other arrangements and now we have to book an extra day in our hotel while we wait for an evening flight. Aaaaand we have to change rooms. It's a whole mess and so am I. I would have planned my trip differently if they had just told me the holiday closes the market. Do not recommend this tour provider.

  Experience Fish-Fresh Food market, Flowers, pearls and souvenirs. I bought breakfast sandwich which was perfect.
