Paradise Cave
07:35 – 08:00 AM: Our car and tour guide will pick you up at hotels in Dong Hoi city and drive you to Paradise Cave – the longest dry cave in Asia (located in Phong Nha – Ke bang National Park’s core zone). It is approximately 75 km from Dong Hoi and an 80-minute drive). OR – 8:30 – 9:00 AM: Our driver will pick you up at your hotels in Phong Nha village, then transfer you to Paradise Cave – the longest dry cave in Asia (located in Phong Nha – Ke Bang National Park’s core zone). 09:15 - 12:00: You will then be taken by golf cart (1.6km) from the main gate through the jungle, where you will then climb to the mouth of the cave; a climb that boasts spectacular views of the mountainous region around the cave. 12:30 Lunch at a local restaurant in Phong Nha village. Here you will enjoy a traditional Vietnamese dish. Vegetarian option available. Please contact us in advance if you have any dietary restrictions and we will do our best to accommodate you.
Phong Nha Caves
13:30 - 15:30: Depart to Phong Nha Cave. You will then take a 25-minute ride to the cave by a traditional dragon boat. This cave is called a water cave as it exhibits an underground river. After going into the cave by boat, you will explore 300 meters into the cave on foot. Then, you will be taken back by boat. This cave is famous for its spectacular rock formations. It has been given names such as the “Lion”, the “Fairy Caves”, the “Royal Court”, and the “Buddha”. 16:00: Tour ends. Back to Phong Nha Village. 17:00 - 17:15: back to Dong Hoi, you will be dropped off at your hotel.

4.00Paradise Cave was spectacular and gave us good leg workout for us oldies navigating the pathway up to the entrance. Although the cave is 31km long, we only did the first kilometer. The cave is enormous, delicately lit and full of beautifil formations. We then enjoyed a traditional Vietnamese luch before heading off to the Son River where we sailed quite some distance before sailing into the cave. Not as large as Paradise Cave but just as stunning, not to mention easier on the old legs. Our driver was Buffalo and our guide was the lovely Anna, who continued to give us insights into the region's history despite her self-confessed limitations with English translation. All up, a thoroughly rewarding day.

5.00Good tour to see the cave highlights in Phong Nha. You will be picked up from the hotel (Dong Hoi or Phong Nha with us), then go to Paradise Cave, go to dinner and then take the boat to Phong Nha Cave. After that you will be taken back by bus. Good tour size, with us 10 people, and flexible solutions are found depending on the itinerary. Anna did a good job as a guide. We booked through our hotel, there was conflicting information about the payment. It is best to book directly on the website to avoid service fees. Overall a good price-performance ratio and at the same time cheaper and easier than self-organized with grave or similar.

5.00Paradise cave, while relatively busy, was stunning and absolutely gigantic inside, Phong Nha included a scenic boat trip along the lake and was equally impressive. Really enjoyed the tour and Anna as our tour guide was super friendly and informative, the included lunch was tasty, overall great value for a day tour and suitable for anyone. Pictures just don't do the caves justice, you have to see them in person!

5.00I was traveling solo, Visiting Phong Nha Cave and Paradise Cave felt like admiring a work of art by God. but I was grateful that the guide (Anna) took such good care of me and kept me from getting bored. The drive was also the best drive I've ever had. It was a trip that makes me want to revisit with companions next time.
