This Paragliding Ohrid adventure starts by picking you up from your hotel or apartment in Ohrid or we can meet at Cuba Libre beach-bar, then you will be transported with the jeep to the take-off place. The transportation is adventure by itself, very similar to off-road experience to the mountains. At the take-off, after a ten minute briefing our professional tandem pilot will take you into the air for a flight that lasts from 10 – 15 minutes depending on flying conditions. The passenger (you) and the flight instructor each have their own comfortable harness. You are then connected together and finally connected to the glider. Once in the air your flight instructor will explain to you what he is doing and how paragliders fly. If conditions permit, you may be offered hands on control of the glider. The landing place is at Cuba Libre Beach, where after landing you can see the photos or video from the flight and share your impressions.

5.00I’ll be honest! I’m afraid of heights. The kind of afraid where just looking down from a balcony makes my stomach drop. So when I decided to go paragliding in Ohrid, Macedonia, I wasn’t sure what had gotten into me. But from the moment I met my pilot, Sasho, something shifted. He had this calm, confident energy that immediately made me feel safe. As we stood on the mountain, watching the wind move gently through the autumn-colored trees, he explained everything: what to expect, how to run during takeoff, what each sound meant. Before I knew it, we were running together, and suddenly my feet were no longer on the ground. I can’t even describe that first moment in the air. The fear disappeared, replaced by pure awe. Beneath me stretched Lake Ohrid, glistening like glass under the afternoon sun, Europe’s oldest lake, ancient and still. The mountains of Albania and Macedonia surrounded us, dressed in fiery shades of orange, gold, and red. It was peaceful, silent except for the wind, and I remember thinking: I’m actually doing this. What surprised me most was how free it felt: not scary, not tense, just peaceful. I could see the curve of the earth in the distance, the texture of the mountains, and the way the light changed as we glided through the sky. Sasho pointed out landmarks, joked with me, and made sure I never felt anxious. By the time we landed, my heart was racing, but not from fear. From joy. From gratitude. From feeling alive in a way I hadn’t felt in a long time. If you ever find yourself in Ohrid, even if you’re terrified of heights like me, trust me, go paragliding. Let Sasho take you up there. Let yourself see the world from a new perspective. It’s not just a flight, it’s a memory you’ll carry forever. It was followed by a scrumptious traditional Macedonian feast!

5.00Great fun Just keep walking down the hillside and as soon as you know it youre air born sailing above the trees with the lake in the distance Very smooth gliding along the hillside holding onto your selfie stick Even more thrills when you start a few acrobatics , a bit of a rollercoaster feeling Shortly afterwards the ground is approaching and you have landed as smooth as you can imagine

5.00Incredible experience! Both Sachas were very friendly and know what they are doing! Flying above the Ohrid lake was so so beautiful! The ride with the jeep to the jumping point is a nice extra 😎. We would definitely recommend it to others! And have fun in advance!

5.00I really recommend this activity. The pilots were great guys, very competent and professional. I had never done this before and Goran who I flew with gives all confidence and is a friendly person. The experience is breathtaking and the views, photos and videos also are great souvenirs.

5.00We have done the paragliding activity and loved it, very good care, we had an hour and a half delay at the border with Albania and relocated us without problems. The excellent monitor both mine and my wife. Paddle surfing was also included in the package, we liked everything.
