Create your own watercolor in Paris and take home a framed artwork, even as a complete beginner.
This is a curated outdoor watercolor experience designed to combine creativity, comfort, and atmosphere. All materials are provided, and you’ll be guided step by step using a clear and beginner-friendly approach.
It’s a relaxed and welcoming experience, perfect for individuals, couples, and families — kids are very welcome, and no prior painting experience is needed. Everyone can enjoy the process at their own pace.
Depending on the weather and light conditions, each session takes place in one of three carefully selected locations:
– along the Seine with views of Musée d’Orsay
– in a quiet shaded garden near Petit Palais
– or under the elegant columns of La Madeleine
Each setting offers a different side of Paris — ensuring a unique and memorable experience every time.

Welcome to a curated plein-air watercolor experience in Paris. Each session is designed to offer the best artistic conditions, combining atmosphere, comfort, and light. Depending on the day, we paint in one of three locations: – Seine-side (Musée d’Orsay view) — open, cinematic Paris – Petit Palais garden (Jardin Charles Aznavour) — calm and shaded – La Madeleine colonnade — architectural setting, ideal in rainy weather I introduce materials and demonstrate essential watercolor techniques — washes, blending, layering — guiding you step by step as you create your own Paris-inspired artwork. No drawing skills are required — the composition is prepared in advance, so you can focus fully on painting. No experience is needed. Your painting is framed and ready to take home as a personal memory of Paris. Many guests describe this as a highlight of their trip. Even beginners are often surprised by what they create and leave with a real sense of accomplishment. The final location and meeting details are shared the day before. Small groups ensure personal guidance and a calm, high-quality experience.

5.00A fantastic way to spend the afternoon enjoying a beautiful setting and learning about watercolor painting. We went with our daughter who really enjoys art. Artem made us feel at home and set the tone for a fantastic experience. So glad the canvas was pre-sketched with the Petite Palace facade so we could jump right into painting. I have not painted since middle school. Shocking how good our paintings turned out!

5.00Had a wonderful afternoon in the park water coloring the petit palais. Artem was patient and wonderful guiding me through the process and now I have a wonderful souvenir that I will be proud to hang in my home. I cannot recommend this unique experience enough!

5.00This was my 1000% favorite thing I did in Paris. Our teacher, Antom (spelling?! Not sure!) was super professional and just a delight to learn with. He was well prepared, made sure we each had what we needed, and really took his time to help us gain new watercolor skills. He had an architecture background, and his love of using color and the watercolor medium was easily contagious. We were all beginners, and he made sure we all felt great about our work and the process itself. Could not recommend higher! I’m pretty sure every trip I now take I will have to include some kind of art class. I now have the best souvenir I could ever have!:)

5.00One of the most unique and wonderful experiences I’ve had in Paris! I’ve lived in Paris for 2.5 years, so I’ve done a lot in the city, but nothing like Artem’s class. Painting out in the city, capturing a beautiful moment in time, and having a piece of Paris to hang up at home. Artem makes sure that no matter what artistic experience you have, that you feel comfortable and leave with a gorgeous painting. He’s very patient and a pleasure to learn from. Can’t recommend this experience enough whether you live in Paris or are just visiting!

5.00Very well done. Very well set up. Excellent materials. The teacher was very knowledgeable and gave me several excellent tips to improve my technique. The teacher, the duration of the class and the quality of supplies were well worth the cost of the class.

5.00Painting with Artem was so amazing! I was a bit intimidated thinking about the class but Artem was great, so patient, so informative, so professional and so friendly. He explained every step. We came home with a very pretty painting of the Musee d’Orsay!

5.00Thins was an iconic experience . I found this on trip advisor and took a chance and booked .. Artem, was the instructor and there were a total of 4 participants , supples , easels , location all set up and ready to go, by the Seine .. he not only helped us techniques on a basic sketch he provided — but encouraged our artistic eye and emotions —- at the end he said “we are all Paris artists now!” … he genuinely enjoyed our water colors and very encouraging … an unbelievable experience !

5.00I had a wonderful experience learning watercolor techniques, The artist was patient, talented and an excellent teacher. There were 4 total in the class and we each received individual attention. As a beginner painter, it was a great experience…no pressure and lots of fun. The fee was reasonable. We were lent everything including paints and easels and even given a frame for our finished masterpiece. You just arrive and have a great time.
