Our food and wine adventure will bring you to the heart of wine kingdom of Croatia – Peljesac peninsula – the cradle of the famous authentic red wine – Plavac Mali. First stop are the oyster farms where you'll enjoy eating fresh oysters on the boat of the local oyster and mussel farmer directly from the sea paired with their family wine. Get a insider closer view to the oyster growth from the past times to the modern days directly shared by the oyster farmer which family is in this business for the five generation. Second stop is town of Ston and ancient saltworks of Ston where you will join the presentation of the sea salt production through the centuries. It is possible to buy some fresh sea salt. Tour continues to the two different wineries that both share the passion of the organic biodynamic wine making process. You'll try their quality rewarded wines ( 6 + different wine tastings) together with the virgin olive oils. In the second winery you'll enjoy homemade three to four courses prepared lunch in the family rustic winecellar called „konoba“. Dishes are made with organically grown veggies from their own garden or bought by the local farmers and fishermen.

5.00We highly recommend this tour. Oliver's knowledge of the history of his country was very informative and heartfelt. The locals we met, oysters straight from the sea, wineries and home cooked food in a 500 year old home was one of the best tours we've been on in our many travels.

5.00Had a wonderful day with Oliver on the winery, oyster tour. Along with trying some oysters on a boat along with some homemade wine, we also learned about the culture in the area and the importance of family. The 2 wineries we visited had a variety to select from. We had a traditional meal at the second winery which was delicious! Traveling with Oliver, you see the friendliness of the people in Croatia and if you're lucky, you get to meet his uncle!

5.00This winery and food tour was absolutely amazing. Our driver was named Oliver, and he was super easy and fun to talk with, he drove well, and took us to the most amazing wineries! It felt like we were visiting family friends while drinking amazing wine as well! We also stopped at an oyster farm on the way there and got an up close view of how oysters are farmed and even got to sample them fresh out of the water!
A wonderful whole day experience!

5.00Oliver, our guide, is a fun, friendly professional operator. We all got to know one another during a fun packed day. We feel we've left Croatia with a better understanding of the culture and environment. We highly recommend doing this tour. Next time, we're going to do a cookery class with him and his wife. Book it! You'll be glad you did.

5.00We had an amazing time on this unforgettable experience. I highly recommend this tour and would certainly do this again! Oliver was a fantastic guide - so informative and friendly. The oyster tour and salt flats were very interesting, and the winery was very nice. Lunch was also delicious. Five stars all around!!!

5.00What a fantastic day! Oliver picked us (and one other couple) up and took us to the oyster farms, where we boarded a boat and learned directly from the captain about the farming process. He even opened oysters fresh from the water and served them with lemon and wine—an incredible experience! From there, we visited the salt flats, which were fascinating, and then continued on to two wonderful wineries. Both offered excellent tastings, and the final stop treated us to a true feast—farm-to-table and prepared right in their kitchen. Truly unforgettable. A+++

5.00My wife and I had an absolute blast on this trip. The drive to and from the wineries/oyster farm is about an hour to an hour and a a half but the trip feels short due to the scenery and commentary/conversation. The oysters were realllllllyyyyy good, and literally pulled eight of the ocean for you. I recommend that you eat breakfast before coming because you eat lunch at the last stop and you’ll be drinking at a winery and during the oyster excursion before that. Highly recommend especially if your spouse loves wine

5.00We’ve just returned from a wonderful day out with Oliver. He was so knowledgeable and friendly and very giving of his time and heart. All of the elements of the tour were very well thought out, from oysters straight from the sea, on Dubo’s boat, which was great fun with lots of camaraderie and laughs, to the stunning wineries and fabulously authentic dinner experience on Maro’s family winery. It all felt very unique and we were made to feel very welcome. It was as if Oliver was introducing us to all his good friends.
