This tour allow you to choose the attractions that you like, not like the can approach of a fixed itinerary tour. For a 7 hours visit from ship or hotel or airport, you choose some 5-8 attractions to go from the list in "tour details". You choose the place and decide on the you time needed. Either you go deep into selected location, or you can just stop by the corner to take photos from the outside not needing enter the attraction, you made your own decision. Kek Lok Si Temple
Malaysia is culturally diverse country. The People here practiced their religion steadfastly and built many religious sites. One of the better one is Kek Lok Si, better described as the largest Buddhist's Temple in South East Asia. Learn all about Buddhism, Taoism and Confucianism at the temple. There is a saying here in Penang - "you have not been to Penang if you have not been to Penang Hill and Kek Lok Si".
Penang Hills
Becasue of the depressing heat, thus the British set sight on the highest peak in Penang i.e. Penang Hill or locally known as(Flag Staff Hill) Bukit Bendera. They built a railway up the hill and bungalows for retreat during weekend. Here we can see the legacy of the bungalows left behind by the British beside experiencing a lower temperature climate compared to ground level. See Area View of George Town, Love Lock, Ginger Garden monkeys and some other habitat in the 130million year old forest.

4.00GK, my guide, was an enthusiastic tour guide who seemed to know everyone in town. We hit Penang's highlights, express pass to funiculat was appreciated. Enjoyed seeing beverly hills of penang, temples, little india, wall art street. Only suggestion - we covered a lot of stops without lunch and no warer bottles provided . We did stop at the oldest coffee house in penang which served a few chocolate samples. Fortunately, i brought my own water bottle.

5.00We were totally wowed! Tiger helped us customize the very best day we’ve had on a shore excursion…ever! His enthusiasm and knowledge were off the charts. He made our stops at the temples personal and so informative. We went everywhere I wanted to go, and he threw in a few other places that were must-see. Georgetown came alive, Chew jetty, street food, and every important temple. Absolutely do not miss this—Tiger is the best guide you will ever have, making Penang the best place you’ve ever visited.

His in depth knowledge of history and his passion for the job that he loves leaves me in no doubt he made the right decision to change career to carry on in tourism as a licensed guide. 5.00🐯 Tiger picked us up at the cruise port and dropped us off there after we finished our tour. He communicated with me in advance of the tour, so there was never any confusion. My husband and I had a wonderful day with 🐯 Tiger in Penang. We saw the public art in George Town and learned a lot about the colonial days in Penang. We also had a wonderful time up on the Penang Hill after riding the pannicular to the top. 🐯 Tiger’s English is very easily understood and he is a true professional guide. He did a great job of explaining the different areas of Penang, life in Penang, and brought the history alive for us. I would recommend 🐯 Tiger unconditionally.

5.00Tger asked what we were hoping to get out of the day. We explained that as we were based in Georgetown we could see everything that was in walking distance by ourselves. As we are interested in the history and culture we decided to see many temples, during our day we did Penang Hill first and the funicular railway. Then Ken Lok Si temple , the reclining Buddha and then many other temples. He explained the formation of each religion and the explained things clearly and in an understandable way so that that we could learn all we needed to. Ended at the Botanical Gardens that are beautiful. We would recommend Tger to all.

5.00Tiger is truly passionate about being a tour guide! Not only that he is a wonderful person and treats his guests with the utmost attention and care. If you want a guided tour look no further. You can tell that he does his homework and wants to be a tour guide to share his love of Penang. Here is a selfie photo of our group enjoying Durian, but we also visited kek lok si and other places. Oh and I almost forgot to mention he is a true food gourmet- you won't regret trying his recommendations :)
