Tom's Town introduces Pendergast Cocktail College, a captivating series of cocktail classes held every Wednesday at 6:00 PM. In our 90-minute sessions in the Libations Lab, you’ll delve into our signature spirits—bourbon, gin, and vodka—and learn to mix three seasonal cocktails with rotating recipes. Beyond crafting drinks, our curriculum explores essential bar skills, the art of shaking vs. stirring, and shares historical insights into classic cocktails. Enrollment covers the class, three crafted cocktails, and a cheese board. Join us for a unique evening that blends creativity and craftsmanship, where every cocktail tells a story.

Tom’s Town is pleased to introduce Pendergast Cocktail College, a series of cocktail classes led by Tom's Town’s very own professors and resident experts (our bartenders and tour guides!) In these 90 minute hands-on master classes, participants will learn to create some of Tom’s Town signature bourbon, gin, and vodka cocktails. We’ll provide the knowledge, tools, and ingredients for you to shake and stir up three different seasonal drinks! Classes will also focus on topics like creating your own at-home bar, shaking vs. stirring, and the fascinating history of the classics.

Elisha made this class so much fun. He had so much knowledge about the craft and was able to answer any questions we had. All ingredients were fresh and unique. We made three different cocktails while we learned the history of Tom’s.

We rolled into Tom’s Town Distillery’s Pendergast Cocktail College eleven strong and left as certified cocktail connoisseurs (or at least much more charming versions of ourselves). Nestled in a ridiculously cool historic brick building in the heart of KC, this place has the character, history, and just enough rebellion to make you feel like a Boss. Safe to say, we’re now well-versed in the art of bootlegging brilliance. Elisha put on a show with cocktail skills so smooth they probably violated multiple laws in 1930. With an assist by the ever friendly, inimitable Tony (dude’s got more charisma than a speakeasy on payday), these two made sure we all had an unforgettable experience; a perfect mix of education, entertainment and expertly crafted prohibition-era cocktails. Highly recommend! Class is in session, and it’s cool as hell.
