This tour takes you along the beautiful shoreline of Peninsula State Park. You will learn about the area's rich history and see sights like Eagle Bluff Lighthouse, built in 1848. The highlight of the tour gets you up close to Eagle Bluff directly below the point where Eagle Tower sits in the park. Here, you'll see evidence of how this body of water was once part of the Silurian Sea by viewing the caves high above in the rock formations. We'll then cruise past Horseshoe Island, known as one of the safest natural harbors in the Great Lakes. While heading back to Fish Creek, we will talk about the 4 Strawberry Islands and the distant Chambers Island.

5.00This is a great way to see some beautiful sites and also learn about the history of Door County. The narration was very interesting and there were times just to enjoy the views. There are sodas and water for purchase which was great because it actually got warm in the afternoon sun. We all really enjoyed the trip.

2.00It was an OK experience. The view was beautiful but the boat was different than in the pictures. It was only a one level boat which was halfway opened for the wind. It was 80+ temperature and we asked the host to remove the side panel screen for some air but she refused for the reason we couldn’t get it. After 40 min we started getting bored. The speed was very slower than expected. Too much talking for 1.5 hours ride. We wouldn’t go back again.

5.00We really enjoyed the tour guide, Betsey’s amazing knowledge and own experience of history! So cool she grew up on Chamber’s Island!! Bit of a fast talker so I missed words but all in all she did great! Lovely and friendly. The driver drove the boat perfectly not too fast or slow. He was quite nice. We went on the Peninsula tour. Stopped and sat for a few minutes to see each thing. Seating was spacious. We didn't feel over crowded as you’d think. Plenty of seating! Plenty of breeze and fresh air. Not windy blowing your hair all over. Just perfect. Got our photo in the back of the boat before getting off the boat. Nice Binoculars at each bench. 1:00pm was beautiful with the sun shinning on the water glistening making excellent photos! Email had all the details on what to bring. Purchase process was easy. Thank you so much for a wonderful tour!
