But did you know the inspiration for these comes from historical literature and artifacts that can be viewed today? The Percy Jackson Tour at The Capitoline Museum is an engaging experience to gather these imaginative mythical stories and bring them to life.
There will be scavenger hunts with satires, gods and cyclops. Your family-friendly specialized guide will introduce you to many of the archaeological finds relating to the main characters in Percy’s adventures, such as the one-eyed Polyphemus, the menacing looking Medusa and Chiron the wise and friendly centaur, to name but a few.

Join the adventure of Percy Jackson and his demigod friends for a 2.5 hour walking tour in the oldest museum in the world, the Capitoline Museum. The Capitoline Museum is located in Piazza del Campidoglio, one of Rome’s most stunning squares, trapezium shaped with an intriguing oval ground pattern and an elegant staircase, bordered on three sides by gorgeous buildings, entirely redesigned by Michelangelo. In the center of the square stands the statue of the roman Emperor Marcus Aurelius on horseback. Our treasure hunt starts from here, giving your children the opportunity to get involved and have a lot of fun learning. Your enthusiastic and knowledgeable guide will be interacting with you all while sharing interesting facts which will help you and your little ones to understand more about the history and the culture of the people at the time, who lived in one of the most advanced and progressive civilizations in history.

The Capitoline Museum is spread out across two buildings connected by an underground tunnel, both designed by Michelangelo. You will see the iconic Etruscan statue as well as the symbol of Rome, the She-Wolf, and you will listen to the story of Romulus and Remo, the mythical founders of the city. Your kid-friendly expert guide will lead you through Greek and Roman mythology mentioned in the popular books and movies, discovering some of Rome’s greatest artistic and archeological treasures.

5.00This was a great tour for our 11 year old son who is a Percy Jackson and mythology fan. He's not typically into museums but Donato made this experience incredibly engaging and informational. I would highly recommend this tour for families with kids who love Percy Jackson and who may not always be into museums.

5.00My son is a big Percy Jackson fan, and a big reason we came to Rome was to get some in-person mythology exposure. This was a great tour for both the parents and our son. Donato was great - incredibly knowledgeable not only about anything we saw or had questions about in the museum but he knew the Percy Jackson books as well (not just the basics). Definitely made what could have been a boring location for an 11 year old entertaining.

5.00Our tour guide Alessandra is a truly good experienced guide and also a wonderfu mother , I can tell by the way she talked to my 8 year old daughter . My daughter was tired and was a hot day , but Alessandra managed to keep her included and very excited for the tour ! She was very knowledgeable. And we had a like a race , parents against children . Ofcourse my daughter won :) We highly support locals doing these tours . Highly recommended

5.00We just got back from our trip to Italy. We went to multiple cities and did many things. The Percy Jackson tour in Rome was by far our kids’ favorite activity! Adults also learned a lot from the tour. Our tour guide Alessandra is knowledgeable, fun and made the museum tour interactive and engaging for all of us! One of our kids read all the Percy Jackson books and the other only watched the TV series - both were able to follow along and learn about the exhibits and the history of the Roman empire through Percy Jackson story/characters in a fun and engaging way. Highly recommend this tour for any family visiting Rome!

5.00We had a wonderful tour with Alessandra at the Capitoline Museum. We were six adults and six children (14 and under) visiting the museum for the first time. Alessandra kept the kids engaged and entertained with games and a competition between the kids and adults (the kids won!). We can’t recommend this company enough. We hire them every time we are in Rome!

5.00I had a brilliant time for my birthday, and it was so nice to see everyone happy and having fun on the dance floor. The staff are very professional and friendly. My self and my daughter had a facial which was very relaxing. The swimming pool is nice and warm and easy to get into which is important if you have mobility problems. I am looking forward to my next visit.
