It’s a bit repetitive. You see pretty much the same thing over and over again. And everywhere you go there is endless cheap tourist tat for sale. Not at all special
Great Way to Knock Out Seeing Most of the Kyoto Sights

Very good and organized bus tour. You do get to see a lot of the major, popular tourist destinations of Kyoto! But because you will be seeing so many sights in one day, be warned this is speed sightseeing. You won't have a ton of time at each spot to really soak it in and enjoy - maybe an hour or a little more. You must be intentional with your exploration of each temple, or the bamboo forest, or shrine. Since you have to be back at the bus or a meetup point by a certain time, be intentional with where you walk and how quickly you move around the places. Tour guide spoke good English, and she was so nice and sweet.
The best way to get an understanding of beautiful Kyoto!

This tour was so so good! Our guide, Kazu-sama, was excellent and the itinerary perfect for a day in Kyoto. We decided to do this tour to see all the highlights and then went back the second day at a more leisurely pace revisiting all the places we loved!

Rina was such an amazing guide! She was so friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and did such a great job organizing a large group throughout the day. I was traveling solo and this tour was a great thing to do on my first day in Kyoto to see a lot of temples, shrines and places with someone else navigating. I would never have been able to cover so much on my own. It was a good introduction! I highly recommend. The buffet lunch was fantastic too and it was fun meeting new people from all over the world.
